"Mr. Rex! Mr. Rex!"

Alfred Connors could not believe what Jonas Rex said to him over the phone.

He subsequently tried to call Jonas back; but true to his word, Jonas did not pick up the phone. In fact, Jonas blocked Alfred's number on his own phone.

"What's wrong, brother? You look stunned." said Alfred's brother, Darren.

"That was Mr. Jonas Rex. He said that the partnership agreement is called off." reported Alfred, still shocked by the revelation.

"What?" exclaimed Thomas. "How could he do that?" Cleo asked in frustration.

"How dare he do that? Has he forgotten how the Connors Conglomerate have supported the Rex Group over the years?" said Thomas in anger.

"Don't worry, son. I'll pay a visit to the Rex Group on Monday morning. I will talk to him personally and persuade him to change his mind." said Glen.

"I'll go with you, dad." replied Alfred with gratitude.

Sandy then noticed her daughter Christina was very silent. She had not spoken a word since the start of the emergency family
