A Mother Who Abandoned a Child

Yuriel frowned in response. However, thinking about the baby in her tummy, she held back her annoyance and did not reply to Katherine. She removed Aleandro’s hand from her waist and walked away from them.

“Where are you going?” Aleandro held her waist.

“To the kitchen. I’m hungry.” She looked at Aleandro in protest, blaming him for making her drain her energy all afternoon. She awoke with heartburn from hunger and couldn’t stop herself from leaving the room, so she went to the kitchen for dinner. She couldn’t sit still when she was hungry.

“Wait here. Let the servants cook,” said Aleandro, looking at Butler Greyson, who had been standing in the living room. “Butler Greyson, please prepare some chicken soup for my wife.”

“Okay, sir. I’ll get the maid to cook quickly.” Butler Greyson bowed for a moment before turning around, going into the kitchen to instruct the servants to prepare dinner.
