“You will be lost Ayda. No one, in Heaven or Oblivion, could bring you back this time. That little piece of your soul that remains, in your heart, will become dust on the floor of the Abyss. I do not joke on this.” His words echoed along the shelves of books and smacked me right in my chest. It was the first time I had ever heard seriousness, and fear, in the Devils voice.

I was suddenly lost in thought at that moment. Did he really not know how the possession of an Other happened, or, if he knew and the Almighty sent Michael to threaten Lou into fixing this mess, he was playing the false hero.
