The sunset cast a bright orange glow over the grounds, ending training for the day. The intensity left Dainin’s muscles aching from their run, but it was exhilarating to see both packs push themselves to their limits. Tessa’s morals and patience was truly engrained in all of her warriors and their fortitude quickly rubbed off on his own pack members. They were motivated and excited to have a purpose and he was proud of their progress.

Stretching his arms overhead, a chill of desire rushed through Dainin’s body. “It seems we caught someone’s attention,” his wolf purred, but Dainin forced himself to appear unbothered. He wanted Tessa to believe she was getting away with ogling over his body from afar, but once inside the packhouse, he became a blur, running through the halls.

Reaching her office in record time, Dainin silently entered the room and found Tessa standing at the window with her hand caressing the slight swell of her stomach. The sight rekindle
