Japheth The moment Matteo pulled the trigger, my body went rigid and I thought that was my end. But surprisingly, there was no gunshot. Even as he pulled the trigger again and again, it just kept clicking.The gun was actually empty.“The fuck? Where are my bullets?” Matteo yelled as he moved away from me and only then did I let out a breath of relief.Fuck, I almost died. But who was to say he wouldn't try to kill me again once he found his bullets?My hands moved quickly behind me and while I tried to get out of the ropes that bound me, I could feel blood dripping down my hands. The ropes were tearing my skin as I struggled against them.“Don't you fucking think I'll let you live.” He snapped as he pointed at me. “Imma find my bullets and I'll be back to finish what I started.”With that, he stormed out, and my heart literally nearly sank in relief when I felt the binds loosen up a little. I was still surrounded by these scary-looking guards, so I had to move without alerting them.
