CHAPTER 9: Focus on What's Important! Adriano was still in the bathroom, cleaning himself, and the maids had thrown out his blood-drenched shirt. He had asked me to join him, but I declined. Chapter 12: Date Week I woke up to an empty bed, not that I expected him to be there anyway. I sat up, stretching my sore body from the way Adriano gripped it the previous night.
