Chapter 54 The despair was eating me

Rosalyn's pov.

Next morning, as soon as I woke up, a feeling of emptiness filled my chest. My heart was in pain and I didn't feel any emotions. Everything feels so dull and I was exhausted. Exhausted from waiting the whole night.

Lorcan didn't return last night. My fingers instinctively reached out for the coolness of empty sheets besides me. It was just as empty as my heart was.
