Aurora walked into her brother's home her ladies in waiting pacing after her. She found her way into the living room where Garatiya sat relaxed with two girls massaging her feet
"Where is Alex?" she asked an uninterested Garatiya
"My queen, welcome." she said sarcastically dismissing the two girls who scurried past Aurora
"I ask again where is my brother?"
"Aurora, i have said this and will say it again, this is not the palace but my home so you will treat me with respect!"
"Respect my foot! You dont deserve respect, i am the queen and as your queen i demand an answer!" Garatiya just but looked at her sizing the woman before her before going back to her comfortable sitting position a
Gina got to school early the following morning looking all cool driving a "borrowed" truck. Her father was around although leaving later that day hence going to school early was unavoidable. She parked by the school parking lot and paced into the school where there were not a lot of students as yet. Getting into class she found a number already inside and upon getting to her seat, someone had already occupied it, a brunette whom Gina had never seen before. Well, she didnt really know if most of her classmates anyway"You have occupied my seat." she said to the girl who blinked and pretended not to hear her. Frankly, Gina was quite small, she had a cute innocent face and the most innocent smile. She was just easy too undermine"Miss, i said move." said Gina firmly. Their fellow classmates kept turning to get a glimpse of the brewing feud
Mara walked into the king's presence where Zuri and the ministers were all sitted. With her was a young man around Xavier and Nathan's age."Long live his royal magesty." she said bowing slightly, the young man did the same. As always, Zuri stood by the king's side observing it all"I have heard a lot about you. Welcome." Roland said to the beauty before him. She had a very strong aura, commanding and intimidating at the same time."Here with me is Dazrey. Zuri introduced me to him yesterday so he spent the night in my house in preparation for today. I used some portions on him to strengthen him further and i can say he is ready"Are you sure this will work Mara?" one of the old men asked
"How do you feel are you okay?" Mara asked helping a struggling Dazrey to sit up"I'm fine i...i feel strange. A powerful strange.""It worked!" said Marcus enthusiastically."Is he okay?" Dazrey asked looking at a weak Zuri"He will be fine. Its late already so he will spend the night here. How about all three of you spend the night?" the king said to the trio who agreed. The ministers said their goodbyes and left. Marcus was the happiest of them all, he felt on top of the world. Dazrey and Mara were taken to their respective rooms for a little rest before supper was served. They proceeded to the dining room where the rest of the royal family were set up all ready for dinner. Zuri had his food taken up to him because he still felt ve
"Hey Charles." Gina mumbled in a sleepy voice "What is that? Why do you sound odd arent you at school?" "No i didnt go today, dont tell my father. Whats up?" "Well there is actually a lot i would like to tell him but its unfortunate he doesnt know me. Anyway David is on my case because of you. Yesterday he was insisting he comes to see you at the hospital i had to bribe a few individuals to confirm you are really in hospital." "Oh Charles what would i do without you. You are God sent." "You sound drunk Gina!" "Hey dont shout you are hurting my ears." she said slightly removing the phone from her ear, "I just dont feel good at
The people of Luyota gathered outside the palace gates the following day to give their last respects to their late king. Many were hurt, others were even crying. Roland was a good king and had ruled his people with love and kindness. He was to be laid to rest the following day but it was forbidden to bury a king before naming the next one. It was believed the late king would be glad to see his successor before completely departing from the face of earth. The people of Luyota bowed in unison before the palace bidding farewell to the king before going their seperate ways, Dora being amongst them. As the preparations for the king's burial were underway so were the preparations for Xavier's coronation. It was a very strange scenario, on one hand there were celebrations on the other mournings. Two events attached with opposite feelings were going to occur on the same day. What could be more tormenting than that.
The following day was a quite a busy day at the palace. On one hand were the preparations for the coronation while on the other were preparations for the late king's burial. Mara and Zuri had long arrived for the coronation Dazrey being amongst them. It was so going to be a long day"You look great." said Shayne standing by the door"Come on in and close the door." said Xavier to Shayne who did just that"Is mother coming?""Yes she said she will come. Are you ready?""Honestly, i am not Shayne." he said walking over to Sham's potrait, "Its just too soon, too sudden"Xavier, you are thinking too much." Shayne said walking over to st
The room went silent, not even a single gittering. Xavier looked at a serious Dazrey then at a smirking Nathan. Aurora then nudged Nathan to go upfront and receive the cup but Catherine held him"What are you doing?!" she whispered looking at Aurora who ignored her"Go get your birthright Natty. You are not a bastard child." With that Nathan roughly released himself from Catherine's grip. Poor Catherine just stood there too frozen to even move. She could not believe it was actually happening. Just as Nathan was about to take the cup from Dazrey, Xavier snatched it and handed it over to a shell shocked Zuri."You will not dare..." said Xavier looking at both the men"Give the cup back while i ask nicely your magesty." Dazrey said in a
Everybody within the hall went on to give their respects to the new king whether they liked it or not. Nathan was now king and there was nothing anybody could do about it. Such an unexpected turn of events which many could tell that Roland was disgusted wherever he was. He had to witness this before being lowered into his grave. While the rest of the congregation dispersed only the ministers remained to bury King Roland. Later that night the guards carried him to the royal graveyard where all the fallen kings and queens had been buried to perform his last rights. Catherine walked side by side with Xavier while Aurora and Nathan did the same. They would frequently look over at the other duo and chuckle silently at their unforseen loss. They eventually reached their destination where Zuri led the ceremony, a brief ceremony which was over in no time. Marcus still could not believe what Aurora had done to him. On their way back after the fune
