Heavy Love

I can rule the whole world, but the child has no love for me, as like a father._Groddy

The scene in front of the bathroom became increasingly tense when Sehrize looked at the little girl in front of her with a look full of sadness. And Groddy held back his steps to leave the woman in the bathroom, strangely Natallie didn't turn around to question what was going on.

Sehrize gave a perfect smile, with tears remaining in her eyes that accompanied the fight earlier.

"Why is Mommy silent?" Natallie's voice made the three people aware of the silence.

"Your mommy and daddy weren't fighting, Natallie. We were just having a fairly difficult conversation, so we raised our voices at each other."

"You can lie to me, Mom.But not that man's attitude. And I don't understand why Mommy loves a bad man like him."

Groddy raised his head, his eyes directed at the small body standing in front of him. From Natallie's very mature way of speaking, his eyes turned to Sehrize's figure who was looking at him too.Groddy didn't understand how Sehrize raised Natallie to have such thoughts far from the thoughts of a child.

Sehrize immediately invited Natallie to go back to bed, continuing her rest which was disturbed by their fight in the bathroom. The door which was closed tightly and made no sound apparently still woke the little child up.Natallie's mind worked quickly with what was happening in her father's bridal chamber.

As his daughter's footsteps drew closer without a sound, Groddy didn't know what to do. And what made him even more convinced that Natallie was his daughter, she inherited the cold attitude he had always had.

Sehrize tried to give her peace, that everything would be fine if she left Natallie in Switzerland.Natalie was also not allowed to say bad things about Groddy as a father.

Even though there was no rejection, Natallie's expression meant that Sehrize's request sounded very disgusting.

She saw Groddy on the opposite side of the bed, her cold gaze seemed as if she would kill the grown man who had made her mother cry.

"You already had me and let my mother leave your life. Why did you make my mother cry?!"The question came out of Natallie's mouth.

"Natallie, my beloved.Daddy didn't make your mother cry.And your mother's decision to leave us was her own decision."Groddy answered very softly.

"Then, can you make my mother be with you? Become a perfect family?"

Groddy was shocked again, he didn't even have any answer to his daughter's question.Sehrize reminded Natallie to talk to her father like a child.

There is no need to involve very mature things regarding her relationship with Groddy. Because Sehrize never introduced Groddy as a father until she was five years old.

"Natallie, you will join your father's extended family.Speak politely.Whatever happened several years ago until today, only Mommy and Daddy know. You are not yet in this world." Sehrize said full of warning.

__________

The bridal room was filled with roses, scattered on the floor. Sehrize's departure a few hours ago to return to France meant that Natallie had to live with Groddy to continue the journey which was not easy.

Her arrival became big news, at the wedding of the man she called father who had to experience a shock that almost took the life of the old woman, whom Natallie would call grandmother.

There were no cries to see Sehrize leave, but when the door to the bridal chamber closed, the five year old child immediately turned around. Her eyes turned to look outside the window with tears rolling down her cheeks.

The Swiss air is very different from her life in France, even though she only lives with two people in a small building, Natallie really likes it.She had that life with a great woman, whom she always called 'Mommy'.

In fact, she didn't even know whether Groddy would be a great father when she saw how her mother suffered to survive. This fight became Natallie's great anger towards Groddy.

The tall body accompanied Natallie's solitude, but for quite a long time the silence filled their relationship as father and daughter.

"You still say I was the perpetrator who made your mother leave you here?"

one second, two seconds, up to five seconds Groddy waited for an answer, not a one sentence came out of the five year old's mouth.Only a cold expression was the answer that Natallie didn't want to engage in conversation with him.

"I will give you a perfect life, much like the life your mother gave you in France." Groddy said seriously.

Those words made Natallie immediately meet her eyes at the man next to her, a look full of hatred that made Groddy even more confused.

"If I were not a child, I would rather die with my mother than become a child to a man who has not had a life with me since childhood!"

"Oh, Natallie. Please know, when your mother left me here, I didn't know that she was carrying you in the womb. If I had known that, I wouldn't have let you live in trouble in France."

"My mother never gave me any trouble since I was a baby."

"Then what does your mother do there?"

Natalie was silent, leaving Groddy without an answer. She sat down on the bed with her eyes directed at the closed bedroom door, the image of Sehrize's figure still clearly visible in her eyes. Even though her mother was probably already at the airport on a flight back to France.

As if not at his wits end, Groddy approached his daughter again with the tenderness he had never given to anyone, except Sehrize in the past.

Not only is it quite difficult to understand the feelings of a five year old girl, he once did something similar to Sehrize, during an argument several years ago.

The woman who left for no reason and came back to deliver the daughter who should have been responsible for raising his full of love since Natallie was little, even introducing himself as a father. It all seemed too late for Groddy when Natallie was there saw him as a bad father.

"We will go back to the palace, you will meet your grandmother and aunt there."

Only one nod in response meant that Natallie heard Groddy's words well.

The man's breath sounded long, he needed love very hard, when the heir to his wealth had a very cold nature to consider himself as family.
