Illene released her arms on Lucas. She turned around, staring at her husband for a moment. While Rikard looked back at him with a smile and nodded. Only then did Illene dare to look at Jaccob.

"Let's go in, I'll explain everything to you," said Illene. 

Jaccob just snorted disapprovingly, but he was silent as everyone entered his house one by one. Jake sat roughly on the single sofa, he even asked Maria to sit on his lap. Not wanting to make Jake angry, Maria finally complied.
