Chapter 3: A Night of Love at First Sight

"Young Madam?!" Subordinate? To pick her up?

Phoebe Hamlet was left dumbfounded by the man's words, staring at him with a puzzled expression. "Why are you calling me like that?"

The leading man smiled knowingly and then explained, "Because what you're wearing around your neck is the heirloom jade pendant that the Young Master left for you!"

Heirloom jade pendant?

Instinctively, Phoebe Hamlet looked down at the jade pendant hanging from her chest. She hadn't expected this pendant to have such a background. While she felt a mix of surprise and delight, there was also a tinge of disappointment, as the jade pendant belonged to Eudora Cook.

Could it be that these men in front of her didn't know this?

After some thought, Phoebe Hamlet decided to play dumb and probe further: "I still don't understand what you're saying."

The man introduced himself respectfully, "Young Madam, we are from the Harrington Corporation. I am the butler of the Harrington family's Young Master. You can call me Ben."

"Harrington Corporation?!" Phoebe Hamlet was shocked, her face lighting up with joy. "You mean the Harrington Corporation that has businesses spanning entertainment, commerce, and politics, and has been the national leader in net profit for ten consecutive years?!"

"Yes, Young Madam," Butler nodded with a smile. The Harrington Corporation was well-known both domestically and internationally, almost everyone knew about it.

Excited, Phoebe Hamlet quickly asked, "Then who is your Young Master?"

"Our Young Master is the heir to the Harrington Corporation! Because his identity is quite special, his real name cannot be disclosed to you for now. After you and our Young Master get married, he will tell you everything about himself." Butler continued to answer with a smile.

Phoebe Hamlet's heart was filled with joy. Was she dreaming? The Young Master of the Harrington Corporation actually wanted to marry her!

If she could marry the Harrington family's Young Master, she would never have to live in such a shabby place again. She would live the life of luxury and wealth she had always dreamed of!

"Alright, I'll go with you," Phoebe Hamlet immediately agreed, having already forgotten the true owner of the jade pendant.

Without packing any of her belongings, Phoebe Hamlet followed Butler Liu out of the door. After all, once she married the Harrington family's Young Master, she would have more money than she could ever spend. These cheap, worn-out things no longer suited her.

As she stepped into a luxury car worth millions for the first time, Phoebe Hamlet's heart raced with excitement. She was even more eager to meet the Harrington family's Young Master.

Feeling both nervous and excited, Phoebe Hamlet sat in the back seat and thought of Eudora Cook, feeling a bit uneasy. She cautiously asked, "Does your Young Master know my name? And why does he suddenly want to marry me?"

"Well..." Butler Liu hesitated, as the Young Master had not told him the reason. He had only instructed him to pick up the woman with the Harrington family's heirloom jade pendant at Apartment 1808, Hope Residence, and that this woman would become the future Young Madam of the Harrington family!

Butler shook his head, "The Young Master did not tell me your name."

In a dilapidated, abandoned building, inside a rugged off-road vehicle disguised as scrap metal, a man with face paint read the message the Butler sent. A faint smile appeared on his lips as he pondered.

"Bro, we are about to have a big fight with 'Vulture' Team, and you still have the mood to check your phone and smile?" Brian Gibbon, his comrade-in-arms, whose face was painted black, couldn't help but tease the rarely smiling Theodore Harrington.

Theodore Harrington, known for his cold and stern demeanor that struck fear into the hearts of his enemies, was actually smiling?!

Brian Gibbon found this very surprising. Could the sun be rising from the west today?

Hearing this, Theodore Harrington's smile faded instantly. After sending a text, he remained silent.

Curious, Brian Gibbon asked, "Young Master, last night when you were exposed during your infiltration and chased by the 'Vulture’team, you jumped off a high rooftop and miraculously survived. Could it be that you were saved by a beautiful woman?" Brian Gibbon, playing with his gun, asked with a sly grin.

Theodore Harrington glanced at Brian Gibbon with his sharp, dark eyes and retorted, "Do you have a problem if I was saved by my own wife?"

"You have a wife? When did this happen? Why didn't I know?" Brian Gibbon was stunned, looking at Theodore Harrington in disbelief.

A faint smile appeared on Theodore Harrington's lips, and he said with a knowing look, "It happened last night..." A love at first sight!
