Diya
Five years ago,
"Ace!" I called. "I can't hear you anymore."
I took a deep breath as I stood with the blindfold in my eyes. I do not know what he was up to but i was getting a little antsy.

"I'm here, Dee." I heard him whisper behind me and I jumped. "Take a deep breathe and take off the blindfold." He rubbed my shoulders, and I relaxed.
I took the blindfold off as he stepped back. I looked around at the house. It was filled with snowdrop flowers. They were everywhere. Some petals were on the floor. My hand reached for my mouth and I was crying. Tears of joy.
"No," I shook my hand, "What are you doing?" I looked at Ace, who was on one knee.
"Well," he smiles, "I'm doing this the proper way."
"Stop." I wiped my tears and smiled. "I already said yes."
"I know you already say yes, but I want to ask you again."

Diya I never thought I would feel this weak. I begged Ace on my knees, but he seemed to enjoy making me suffer. He seemed determined to break me further and harder, but I thought he would be kind. “Please, Ace. Stop. Don’t kill him,” I spoke as he looked down at me. As he sat in front of me, he chuckled. As he shook his head at me, he looked angry. He wanted to speak, but he looked at me and sneered silently. I had no energy to fight with him anymore. He was going to kill him, regardless of my pleas. Every bit of love and care I had for him was gone. I really hated him. He was evil, and he enjoyed other people’s misery. There was no end even to me. Someone he claimed to love. To think he swore to never make me cry. I wiped my tears as I sniffed silently on the floor.
