Chapter 16

In front of the company lobby, Sherly waited patiently for Santos. When she finished her work, she immediately went downstairs and waited in front of the main gate to meet the man.

For a full day, Sherly had not met Santos. Previously, she had asked a staff member about Santos' activities. From the employee, Sherly learned that Santos had a busy schedule over the past few days.

Because she was worried about disturbing Santos' busy schedule, Sherly decided to wait without calling the man.

The wall clock showed 6 pm when the elevator dinged.

Sherly turned to the open elevator. Her smile suddenly brightened when she saw Santos in a group of people coming out of the elevator.

"I can guess that you are waiting for me." Even though he has worked all day, Santos still looks bright and cheerful.

From an employee, Santos learned that Sherly had asked about him three times. Of course he bloomed when he heard that.
