Matteo’s POV

I didn't expect to wake up to the faint ray of sunlight finding its way through my curtains, but I did. I pondered how I had slept, covered with my warm blanket. But I thought of Anna and shit on the bed. The thought that she was somewhere in my house sent a jolt of alarm through me. I cursed beneath my breath and forced my movements to be faster.

"Another day for headache without pills." I said, bitterly.

At the bed's edge, I popped my joints and noticed how quiet the house is. But I didn't take comfort in it, worrying for Anna was something that was on edge because she had no idea what to expect each day.

I went towards the kitchen, and met my sister there. She prepared breakfast with practiced efficiency that made me just stand there and watch her like it was the scene of the century. Or was a quiet show of how home was supposed to be even though ours had lost its touch a long time ago.

"You can be faster." I said and she fidgeted, turning to roast me with her star

Matteo’s POVI never thought I would see the day, but there it was, right before my eyes. The paddle went up.It felt like my heart didn't have enough space to beat, I wanted to speak out, some part of me found it somewhat amusing but I didn't react that way. This didn't feel real to me.“Its finally my turn." I said, as if it was a prayer, my fingers holding each sides of my chair as if they actually bolted it together.I didn't wait for the host to finish repeating the bid price or asking if there was anyone else who could take it higher."Sell her immediately." I said, raising my hand. I sounded somewhat desperate, but if what I said could happen right now, it was worth it. Anna had finally been sold, and not just for some cheap token like I’d feared. For that price… that price was everything. The host looked at me with surprise for a moment but then gave me a professional nod. He lifted his voice and declared, “Sold.”That was all I needed.I sat back in my chair, heart racing

  • You rejected your Luna: One Chance is all you Get.    CHAPTER 119

Anna’s POVThe moment I stepped into the room, guided by Alpha Jason himself, my whole body felt weak. I admitted to myself the fear that lived in my heart—it had been there since the auction, and it wasn’t going anywhere. My steps were slow, unsure, almost like I was walking into a fate I couldn’t control.I kept replaying everything in my head. The way the paddles were raised, the way people stared at me like I wasn’t a human being but some object on display. I remembered the look on Matteo’s face when the final paddle had gone up. He was smiling like a devil who had just signed a deal. And then that cheque—his hands never left it. It was like all he ever wanted was the money. And he got it. He didn’t care that he had just traded me away. He didn’t care about the child in my belly, or whether I lived or died after this. For him, that cheque was worth more than me.When Alpha Jason left me in that room without a single word, my fear grew even more. The silence was louder than anythin

  • You rejected your Luna: One Chance is all you Get.    CHAPTER 118

Alpha Jason’s POVAs I entered the room, she followed behind me. She didn't talk, neither did she try resisting or asking about her fate. She just followed like a lamb with her gaze on lowered to the ground, as if she they gave her answers which I didn't. The room I led her to wasn't to big or too small in size compared to the other rooms in the manor. It was simpler and also has all the necessities she need for the time being. The bed was positioned at the center, with sheets that carried the scent of lavender. With it a chair, table and a curtain as well, covering the moon light outside. I stopped and turned slightly. She didn’t look at me, her grip on her dress tight as she stood statued there, as if I had restricted her from moving a muscle.I did not speak. I didn’t know if I wanted to. Words felt unnecessary at that moment. So instead, I opened the door wider and gestured with my hand for her to go inside. She obeyed immediately. When she walked in, I lingered for a second.

  • You rejected your Luna: One Chance is all you Get.    CHAPTER 117

Anna’s POVThe silence in the hall was heavy, almost suffocating. I could hear the faint hum of people breathing, the shuffle of shoes, the soft creak of chairs as bodies adjusted themselves. But none of it was for me. None of them were looking at me with the kind of interest that made my heart race, or my stomach drop.It was as if I wasn’t even there. No one raised their paddle. No one even whispered. It should have been comforting. I should have felt relieved. But instead, all I felt was the strange hollowness of being unwanted.Matteo stood nearby, his face betraying his frustration. He was trying hard to keep his expression calm, but I could see the twitch in his jaw, the way his eyes narrowed at every second that passed. He hated silence more than anything. Silence meant no profit, no satisfaction, no victory. And me? I hated that he still had so much power over my fate.I lowered my gaze for a moment, staring at the ground as my chest tightened. Maybe this was good. Maybe if no

  • You rejected your Luna: One Chance is all you Get.    CHAPTER 116

Alpha Jason’s POVI sat at the very top, overlooking the entire room as the auction went on. The crowd was restless, voices rose and fell, and paddles went up for every other omega that stepped forward. But my eyes… they weren’t on the crowd, or the host, or the flashy movements around the stage. My eyes had been fixed on one person this whole time—her.Helpless Anna. From the moment she stepped onto that stage, I couldn’t look away. There was something about her presence that caught me off guard. She wasn’t loud, she wasn’t fighting, and she wasn’t trying to please anyone. She just stood there quietly, her head bowed, her shoulders weak, and yet… I felt something stir in me that I couldn’t explain. My beta, Thompson, leaned in closer to me. He had been restless for a while, and I already knew what was going through his head before he even opened his mouth.“Alpha,” he whispered, just enough for me to hear. “Don’t take her. She’s not worth it. Look at her—pregnant, weak, completely st

  • You rejected your Luna: One Chance is all you Get.    CHAPTER 115

Matteo’s POVThe hall was already buzzing by the time the auction began. I stood in the shadow of the corner, away from the curious eyes of the alphas who had gathered. Their perfumes mixed with the faint smell of old wine and the polish of the wooden chairs that had been lined up neatly for them. The light from the chandeliers hung over our heads, warm but far too revealing, and I wished more than once that the place had been kept dim.She was brought out with the others. Anna. My eyes followed her without meaning to. She kept her head lowered, hair falling to the sides of her face, and for a moment it almost seemed as though she wasn’t even there. Just another omega being paraded across the stage like she had no value of her own.The auctioneer’s voice carried through the room, calm but sharp as he called out the numbers, the opening bid, and the worth of the omegas. Some were bid for quickly, their paddles raised with little hesitation. But when it came to Anna, the air in the room
