Chapter 6: Entangled Lips and Teeth

Juliet Shaw, don't forget your place!

"What place? I am Juliet Shaw, and even if I married you, I am still the free and unbound Juliet Shaw."

"You are my wife, and you must take care of my daily needs."

"On what grounds? Did you hire me, or do you have some favor over me?"

"Because you like me," Herbert Leopold said coldly.

Juliet Shaw's smile froze on her face.

Their lips tugged at each other, and due to inexperience, their teeth clashed, causing him to flinch.

Herbert Leopold's hands tightened around her waist, as if he wanted to embed her into his body.

Taking advantage of Herbert Leopold's distraction, Juliet Shaw suddenly bit down on his lip.

They stared at each other like bulls ready to charge.

"Juliet Shaw, good job. Knowing I have to go to the company, you did this to me. Are you declaring your territory?" The bleeding stopped, and Herbert Leopold felt he had vented his anger, feeling somewhat relieved.

"Spit!"

Herbert Leopold was taken aback.

"Despicable scoundrel."

After cursing, Juliet Shaw opened the door and left without looking back.

Herbert Leopold touched his lip, watching silently as Juliet Shaw walked away.

Women sure change their hearts quickly.

But without his permission, Juliet Shaw wouldn't be able to leave him!
