The couple lay in bed, sleeping peacefully in each other's arms. Vivianne had no idea when she fell asleep, but Russell had planned it all along. He knew that whenever she ate, she always wanted to take a nap or go to sleep. So if he lured her into bed with him, they'd end up sleeping together.

He had placed a soft kiss on her hair before he fell into a deep slumber. Stirring in her sleep, Vivianne's eyes opened slowly, and directly in front of her, with no more than a few inches, was Russell's sleeping face.

He looked tired, even in his sleep. She started to feel bad for him, thinking about how much work he had done over the last few days, making him look extremely tired.

As the man stirred, she snapped her eyes shut immediately, pretending she was asleep. She heard Russell mutter some words before he went back to sleep, pulling her even closer like she was his comforter.
