ANNA'S POV

After working at my mom's restaurant throughout the week ,I was glad that was weekend already

.I got up from my bed and went to the where I met Emily already up and was able to start making breakfast .

"Good morning my lovely Emily" I greeted her . "Good morning lazy princess "she greeted back "come on I am not lazy "you know I said

"says the lady that doesn't wake up early" she replied .

you see I am a person who waking up early is chore to .I find it hard to wake up early in the morning unlike my bestie here, who wakes up early to exercise and meditate.well I can't understand why people wake up early in the morning though.

" so, what are having for breakfast" I asked her. "we will be making some scrambled eggs with bacon for breakfast miss" she replied in a mock British tone .

"but miss can you get our mails from the mailbox" she asked. ok I replied.

I went out to get the mails , I grabbed them from the mailbox box and I was going through the mails when an envelope with Damnatio company logo caught my eyes.

.I removed it and opened it .

it was my letter of appointment ,I have been given a job at Damnatio company and i was to report on Monday morning

.I ran into the house screaming ,immediately Emily came out looked all terrified .

I got the job I yelled, "ok which job exactly? "she asked Damnatio I managed to say out of breath .

Really ,she screamed and hugged me . I am so happy for you she said, ok this call for a celebration we both screamed at the same time.

we quickly made breakfast and ate while deciding where to go and celebrate.

we finally decided to shopping for new clothes because as Emily said i will need them for my new job, then we decided to go a fancy restaurant for dinner.

After breakfast we showered and got ready to go shopping ! I wore a purple sundress paired with flats but left my face bare without make up.

"Anna come on it is getting late already we have lot of things to shop" for Emily called and i am guessing she is in the living room already dressed up ."Am coming" I said.

one minute later , i came out of my room all dressed up but met with an angry Emily ."sorry I took so long" I meekly replied avoiding eye contact because and angry Emily is not easy to deal with.

"i am not going say anything because it is a joyful day , so out let's go "she said.

we left home and hailed a taxi , to luxurious boutique Emily told the driver.we arrived at boutique and there we met Charlotte the owner of the boutique .

Charlotte is such a nice woman she always treated us well whenever we came to shop here but unfortunately her kindheartness was not of the traits her daughter got from her.

we went to school together with her and if there was one word to describe her it was bitch, she was a bitch.

Charlotte noticed us and came over to where we were standing.

"hi there Emily and Anna it being a while since I saw you two" she said to use with a warm smile on her face.

"well Charlotte we are here to shop for Anna because she got a job in one of the biggest company" said Emily.

"wow! that's nice" she replied

" I am happy for you Anna ,in that case l will be giving you a forty percent discount today so shop away Ladies".

" Thanks, Charlotte "we thanked her and began our shopping spree.

we bought a lot of clothes from corporate wear to clothes for outing for going on date which according to Emily I need a boyfriend because I am missing out on lot of fun .

well maybe it is time I start dating again .the image of mr blue eyes flashed across my eyes but I shaked my head to clear away those thought because I know I am definitely not the type ladies he date, because men like that will most definitely go for ladies that are of high class ,i mean I not low class but not definitely on his level and there is this dark aura I got from him on the day of the interview.

Earth to Anna Emily shaked me. "huh sorry I zoomed out "I said . "ok let go we still have to go the Victoria secret shop across town "Emily said while going towards the cashier to pay up.

we paid up for our clothes and we are now in the Victoria secret shop and Emily has been making me try different lingerie that are very revealing because according to her I will need it and soon, so I have been trying on different lingerie .

Emily 's phone rang and she went out to take the call, she came back she started giving me one of her mischievous looks .

"so Alfredo is back from his business trip and we will be going on date tonight and he will be bringing along his friend nathan so we my dear friend are going on a double date "she said giggling like a school girl.

"I guess now I know why I have been trying on different lingeries. well it is has been long you went on a date ,so you decided to set me up I finished ".

"well you see Nathan is very cute and Alfredo said he is also very nice soooo I asked him to bring him when we are next we going on a date so we can have a double date".

Now let's finish up here and quickly go and get ready she said packing up the lingerie and going to the cashier to pay.

After our shopping spree,now we are back and Emily has been on my neck trying to see to that I am dressed up well for our supposed double date.

Ever since Emily and Alfredo 's blind date a couple of months ago , they have been in contact with each other though they have not made things it official between them yet but seeing how they are constantly going on dates I think they will so.

"And I am done Emily "said happily ,I look at myself in the mirror and I was taken back with the me I am seeing .Emily really did a nice job with my make up.

ok I am going to my room to finish dressing up so put on your clothes I set up for you on your ok she told me before leaving my room for hers to dress up.

I went up to my bed and picked up the clothes she set out and it totally not my kind of dress ,it was a short dress which stop at my mid thigh and it has a plunging necklace you could definitely see my cleavage without me having to bent ,after standing in front of the for more than five minutes I decided to change the dress but I remember what Emily told me

"it is not going to hurt to enjoy life alittle Anna , enjoy your life Anna before it is too late". so I decided to leave it , I picked up my coat and left my room where I met Emily standing outside looking stunning ,she let her hair down and did a minnimal make up .she was also we where a red dress which stop at mid thigh too and has a sweetheart neckline

" ok let's go since you also done but you look good and yummy to eat and I Nathan is going to go crazy today "she commented before we left.

we arrived at the restaurant , it was a five star restaurant .nice I thought .we met a waiter and told him our table number and who were meeting ,which directed us to our table and there I saw Alfredo and a handsome guy sitting waiting for us.

we went there and there stood up to greet with a kiss to the cheek Emily sat down across Alfredo and I sat across the guy I think is Nathan. "ok Nathan meet Emily who I have told you about and Anna her friend" .

i blushed as he was introducing me. Hi Emily I have heard a lot about you from Alfredo he said.Good things I hope she replied while looking at Alfredo lovingly.

He turned to me and introduced himself again and I did too while blushing .we ordered our food and we also ordered for the best wine .

While Emily and Alfredo were busy being lovey dovey , I and Nathan talked and I found out that he was in to real estate business and he hasn't been in relationship for a long time because he was always busy.I also told him about my life and my the job I just got and he congratulated me .

After we were through with our dinner Emily went home with Alfredo and she wont be coming back till the following while Nathan offered to take me home .

weirdly enough I have been feeling like I am being watched throughout the time we left home well it is probably my imagination I thought .

Nathan opened the car for my like a gentleman would and then entered drove us away.

we chatted about little stuff I gave him directions to my place and I could say one thing I can definitely see that we have some chemistry together.

we arrived at my house he walked me to the door we exchanged numbers,after which he lean in and kissed me on the lips since he didn't pull away I opened my mouth and he slipped his tongue my mouth I equally kissed him back , the kiss went on for long but we pulled away before it got too heated.I was blushing hard ,he kissed me good night on the cheek .

G ..Go ..Good night I stuttered embarrassed.I quickly opened the door rushed inside my heart pounding in my chest I went up to my room and collapsed on the bed passing out almost immediately.
