chapter 1

"Anna, Anna wake up", I heard my roommate Emily calling my name but i was to deep in dream land in the arms of the most handsome man and I didn't want to wake up and spoil my dream,until she said "wake up or you are going to be late for your interview" .

I quickly stood up from my bed and checked the time it was 7am in the morning and my interview starts at 8am.

shit I am going to be late ,I breezed passed Emily into the toilet thinking about how I was going manage thirty minutes to get ready and thirty minutes to get to Damnatio corporation.

I managed to get ready in thirty minutes settling for my favorite blouse paired with a blazer and a skirt which reached just alittle below the knee and applied a little make up while I left my auburn hair down .I quickly rushed into the kitchen and saw a bowl of cereal made by emily for me.I swear i have the best roommate ever.I quickly ate the cereal .

I left the house at 7:34 am not before sending a quick message to Emily thanking her . I don't know what I will have done without Emily , she has always been a good friend to me since we met at college .I remember Emily always kind to me and everyone around her and she was always a fighter even after losing her parents and having to take care of herself and her sibling.she is one of the nicest people I know.

I hailed a taxi and told him where I was going and got to the company at 7:50am , wow I really beat time today.I paid the taxi driver and made my way Into the company to the receptionist's table where i greeted her and asked for where the interview was taking place, the receptionist whose name I found out was clara told me to go directly to the executive director office which was on the 13th floor,I thanked her and left.

I took the elevator to the 13th floor where I met people who were to be interviewed too.I took my

seat and waited for my turn.

I got anxious because all who came out of the office were looking quite upset.

"Anna Johnson", I heard my name being called . I am here I replied ."you are up next "the secretary said.

I went into the office and I saw two males and a female .I greeted them and took my seat.

"Anna Johnson right ?",one the males with a babyface asked me . "yes sir "I replied ,it says here that you graduated at the top of your class ."so why should we hire you?"he asked I believe you should hire me because I am willing to work diligently and deliver my work with efficiency I replied . what do you expect as your paycheck ? the female asked ,I believe what you already have a scheme of payment for your employee and I am willing to accept whatever the paycheck for my position is .

All the while the other male with bright blue eyes kept staring at me and I couldn't look at him directly because for some weird reason and also this is first time since my last relationship that a man made me feel this way.

"Miss Anna what do you think is the work of a secretary?"mr blue eyes asked me ."t.the work of a secretary involves receiving calls and filing documents sir" ."Receiving calls huh you don't anything about being a secretary yet you want us to hire you ???"

" n no no sir you can leave miss Anna, you through with your interview."

I left the office feeling sad with my way my interview ended.I heard the ping of my phone which indicates a message I checked my phone and saw a message from my mom and Emily both of them asking how my interview went .terrible I thought

I stop a taxi and went home to willow in my sorrow.

I got home and changed in a tank top and shorts ,picked up a bag of chips and went to the living room, turned on the television but a comedy that I have watched more than once was showing,I ended up taking a nap and waking up only when Emily came back home .

"How was your interview?" she asked me ."terrible" I replied while sitting on kitchen counter."what happened ? "she asked so I told her what happened and she burst out laughing ," so u couldn't answer a question because the man was handsome ?" it is not like that you know I mumbled ."so what was it?" she asked me while smiling.w wel well I was just intimidated

"OK.so give me a description of this mr blue eyes "she said ."well he looks tall ,he was definitely dressed In designer suit his face was well sculpted ,sharp jawline , pink plump kissable lips and his body was seemed strong due to work out"."so what are you going to do now ? "Emily asked

" well I have to keep on looking for a job till I get one "I replied. atlest I have some savings left.

"iwish was lucky to get a job like you ,you know you are lucky to get a good job immediately after we graduated college.I wish I got one right away too ".

no sulking Anna i know you will get a job soon so no sulking OK, not when I am around Emily scolded ."so now do u want u to order pizza because I am starving" she said immediately followed by the grumbling of her stomach ."yes please "I replied but make sure mine has pineapple on it .OK weirdo she replied.

while waiting for the pizza, we chatted about her work. just then the doorbell rang and i went to get the door ,it was the pizza delivery man ,I collected the pizza and paid him.

we ate the pizza join with some wine ,well that's me and my bestie and roomie everything we eat we take wine and it wasn't long I started feeling drowsy , damn my weak resolve when it comes to alcohol.

Emily noticed and said go to bed Anna I clean up before going to sleep.OK Good night I said and went to bed .I passed out immediately my head hit my pillow while dreaming about me blue eyes.
