“What did you just say?” I was a bit startled by Alpha Landon's loud voice.

“Sir he just called and said He's taking a leave for a week,” I was shocked just in the same manner that she was.

“He never told me of such, have you tried talking to him or has he called the office?” I stuttered, wearing a smile on my face.

“Yes sir, earlier this morning he called and informed me about his sudden leave, I guess he must have switched off his phone, maybe he's gone for a personal reason that no one can tell” He divulged, if his best friend doesn't know his whereabouts, this means that he's just as his words.

“Why wouldn't he tell me or even tell his wife?” I knew Alpha Landon was right, Eaton would never let me know about his plans. He's so secretive about his life lately.

“Do you think he cares about his wife?” I was a bit shocked at Philip's words, I guess he was of the opinion that the Alpha was alone, or he was in his office.

“What are you saying?” I signaled Alpha Landon to continue
