Lahat ng Kabanata ng Shades Of Kara: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

~Lance's POV~"C'mon you wanna tell me you never sat out and stared at the stars when you were little?." I exclaimed in amusement as I glanced at Silver. We were both in the upstairs balcony patio staring out at the night sky and enjoying the moment, the weather was relatively cool as wind wheezed amongst the tall trees.I was putting on an ash hoodie with black sweatpants while Silver was putting on an overly sized white sweatshirt and a matching white short."Where I grew up, I didn't even know there were stars, literally!." Silver said and laughed heartedly."Cheers to that..." I said and lifted my cocktail glass."Same!." Silver said and lifted her own glass and then we both touched glasses."So that's Adromeda, some vain queen, she actually got kicked out because she pissed off Poseidon." I said cockily as I pointed at the stars and gave Silver a self gloating smile."Vain queen!..." She repeated, grinning a little, "Is that some

~Kara's POV~Nothing in the universe could have possibly prepared me for today, I knew we had to make an alliance at some point but this is literally the most shocking alliance.I was walking side by side with my Mom into the premises, the place was unfamiliar to an extent but it was close to my favorite place in the world, the docks. We were literally at a warehouse by the loading docks, my favorite place was the docks facing the river that flowed below the town's bridge, that place held quite a few memories of my life, it was my happy and peaceful place."Who is this mystery person Mom?." I asked her again."You don't want to spoil the surprise now do you?." Anna said cheesily. We had received a mysterious text to form an alliance and we were given an address. Well it was mysterious for me but she seemed to be well acquainted with everything. Our little Mother and daughter banter ended that day outside the cafe stall.I forgive her because she had never stopped loving me, I was just

~Third person pov~A quiet discussion is seen going on between three men inside a spacious well furnished company office, that had crazy view goals from the rare canyon window that practically over looked the rest of the city.Outside the window a pale yellow sun shines high up in the sky, as a flock of birds fly by in unison, skycrapers of the same designs are spread far across the city, amongst the busy roads and housing apartments scattered around, the area's land survey was gold.It was a perfect site to stare out at during a gloomy day.One of the men stood by the window calmly staring out with a champagne glass in his hand that contained a golden liquid that kept sizzling occasionally as he sipped like a gentleman. The other two men present in the room were calmly seated in front of the large oak office table that contained several awards, a small HP laptop, a mouse, a pen holder, notepads and lots of files, and finally a name tag with the na

~Kara's POV~... Then I knew I was SCREWED! Big time!.What I thought I heard as a loud bang was actually just the clicking sound made by the revolver to signify it was empty but due to the andrenaline rush at the previous moment I had heard what I heard.Johnny's words echoed in my head... "Try not to die before I see you again..."Earl began to mockingly laugh at me."Look at you, just when you thought you had me, you open your eyes to see something else entirely... That's why I love revolver pistols, they are the best elements of surprise and mental torture." Earl said and laughed harder.Suddenly I had just lost the will power to fight and kill Don Starllion. The five year old in me came back and all I wanted to do was run and hide, I was afraid. My shaky hands with the revolver pistol in them dropped to my sides and the weapon fell to the rugged ground surface."You impress me kiddo a lot, you're feisty, your

~Kara's POV~FEW DAYS LATER...The hospital ward room door popped open and my favorite person walked in.I winced as I weakly sat up on the hospital bed.She gave me her signature smile that always made her eyes sparkle, her hands held a nice bouquet of flowers, it contained red roses, lilies, small daisies and lavenders in it."Hey Mom." I greeted and returned her beaming smile."How's my little mellow doing?." Anna asked me as she took the seat by the side of my hospital bed.I watched as she gently placed the flowers she brought me on the top of the small drawer close to my hospital bed.It almost felt like my life was back to normal again, bringing back memories from 2005 before my Mom was taken away, it almost rendered me in tears but I got hold of myself just in time to resist them."I'm actually better but the doctor said I wouldn't be able to use my arm for a while.
