Maya stayed at the hospital for a week to get adequate treatment, a therapist had also been assigned to her to help her deal with what happened and share her pains. When her doctors felt she was okay to face the world she was released from the hospital. Maya's mother called Craig and he helped her bring her home from the hospital.
