Drago turned to find Madchen, but she had disappeared.Madchen decided now was as good a time as any to take another cigarette break. She took a big draw, relishing when the nicotine hit her lungs. She was so engrossed in her libations, she didn’t hear someone snake up behind her.

The next morning was crazy.Three respiratory therapists trying to get ready for work at the same time. Madchen and Kimber nudged each other back in front of the mirror, rather playfully, while Nick strode around in nothing but a towel, singing into a hairbrush.Adam, being his usual self, stood in the kitchen leaning against the counter, smirking under his sunglasses.

“Drago?Seriously? Do we have to ride in this dinosaur of a jeep?” Nick groaned.“What? She’s still got a good 400,000 miles on her, don’t be mean to Delilah!” he teased.

Madchen laughed to herself. Nick had mind-linked her, explaining that Kimber knew the important details, nothing more. Kimber had taken the news rather well, unperturbed to find out her boyfriend was actually rich as hell. Who wouldn’t be happy to find that out? 

The doctors slowly poured in, from their workroom and breakrooms, then the whispering began.“Where is he, do you see him,” one of the nurses asked, “Oh God I hope he hurries,” said another.
