DEMAND

SIA'S POVI was walking towards the elevator, while everyone was greeting me. I was ignoring all of them as always and was just heading straight, the same stoic expressions present on my face. I was supposed to go to the meeting room, where all the directors, shareholders and investors were waiting for me patiently. What am I doing here, when I took 3 days off, you all must be thinking. After that little moment with Mrs. De'souza, I went to my room to lock myself up, like I always did, when I wanted to hide from the world. My right hand instantly went to the only thing that could comfort me me at a like this, to the place where my heart pendant was supposed to be. But there was no pendant around my neck. I again remembered painfully, that I lost my precious heart pendant. That was the only thing I had on me, when I was left at the orphanage. I guess I was bound to lose ever

POSITION

SIA'S POVMy booming laugh cracked the tense silence, that spread after Mr Holmes's demand. I wiped the tears that filled my eyes, because of laughing so hard. Everyone was looking at me, like I am crazy. I gasped dramatically, placing a hand on my heart, " You want me to resign? "I couldn't control it and ended up laughing again. It was so funny to me. After calming myself down a little, I mocked Mr. Holmes, "And why would I do that?" Amusement was dancing in my eyes.Mr. Holmes looked at me with suspiscious, enraged eyes, " Look Sia Martin! If you won't give up your position then, this corporatiom will be no more " He placed his hands on the desk, clasping them together, while leaning a little on the desk, trying to look intimidating. He was acting like he was dealing with a kid and that kid in his eyes, was apparently me.His behaviour was amusing to me. I raised my left eyebrow and mimick

RETURN

AUTHOR'S POV It's been exactly four minutes, that those three have left the conference room. Time seems to pass, too slow for my liking. Everyone's expecting gaze was set on me, not even wavering for a second. I was drumming my fingers on the desk, disturbing the tense silence in the room. Just as the clock indicated that five minutes have passed, the door opened with a thud voice and my fingers stopped mid-air. Everyone looked at the door with curosity. I raised my head slowly and came face to face with Mr holmes's red face. Behind him, two of the shareholders who left earlier were also standing, their head bowed down in defeat and embarassment. I smirked at Mr Holmes, consciously trying to infuriate him.Everyone present was looking at me with surprise and curosity. I knew what they all wanted. They wanted to know, about how I managed to get them back in just five minutes, with

PROMISE

AUTHOR'S POV"Mr. Holmes, you should stop talking now!" Harry interrupted for the first time in a calm tone. But we were his friends, we could notice the underlying warning in his eyes.It was his speciality, he was calm in all situations. It was impossible to disturb his peace of mind but you could always get a hint of his true emotions, in his eyes. But when it came down to that final point of patience, he was the scariest of us all. We all had saw the results of pestering him too much in the past. He was the silent predator, always observing people knowing everything about them and striking when least expected. He was dangerous because he did everything, unexpected. After hearing, what Mr. Holmes was accusing me off, I went silent and didn't reply. I was looking at him blankly, with my hands placed on the desk.Everyone was uneasy, except me who was feeling numb. I always felt nu

IT'S NOT BAD HAVING HIM HERE

SIA'S POVI was walking straight to the door without looking back, even if I wanted to steal just a glance, but I knew if I looked back I won't be able to run away so easily. Just like, Lot's wife looked back and was turned into a block of salt.I was at the door just about to grab the handle, when I heard Mr Holmes address me once again,"If you haven't done anything to them" I turned sharply around to look at him. He wanted to tear me to pieces and then rub salt in the cracks. If that was what he wanted, then that is what he will get. He looked at my sharp expressions but still continued,"Then you surely know what happened to them. But the real question is" He rubbed his chin imitiating confused expressions, while the mischief was sparkling in his eyes, he added, "Why are you not doing anything?!". I kept looking at him while clenching and unclenching my hands in a fist. I wanted to s

HE KNEW HOW TO BREAK AND MEND MY HEART

SIA'S POV"Now that's creepy, looking at someone and smiling like a psychopath". Hardin mocked me, looking at me raising an eyebrow. "Look who is talking about creepiness and psychopaths..... I was not smiling at you. I was just lost in thoughts!!" I rolled my eyes and sneered at him, lying."Yeah, whatever makes you sleep at night" He said indifferently, dismissing the talk, like he had caught me red handed and nothing was going to work now.But I was still staring at him, wanting to ask for the first time, the question I had always wanted to ask,"Why me?".He didn't look at me or replied to me, even after knowing what I was talking about. He always chose to ignore this topic, that always made me more curious. He left my hands and folded his arms on his chest, indicating his disinterest.I grabbed his face lightly and turned him towards me. I need

Her cheeks heated up at the thought and she shooked her head. She started walking towards her house and hurriedly stepped inside breathing heavily. She crossed the empty corridors and opened the door of her room. She

LOVE

He placed a kiss softly just above her collar bone, making chills run up her back due to her sensitive skin. She moaned in pleasure and Hardin smiled while kissing her neck, driving her more crazy. His hands went back to the zip of Sia's dress and he unzipped it slowly dragging down its zip, while still kissing her neck making her moan and grab Hardin's hair, pulling at them slightly.Just as he unzipped it, her dress fell down and pooled at her ankles. He took a step forward and placed his hands under her thighs. It was a gesture for her to jump in his arms,

SNOW GEESE

SIA'S POVIt's been a week, since I have last seen Hardin or anyone. When I woke up the next morning, he was gone. I realized what I have done again and now it was weighing heavy on me. But there was slight anger and hurt in my heart, that he was not there, when I woke up. I really need to kill this part of mine.I have been locked in my house after that day, with my phone switched off. I didn't want to talk to anyone or do anything. I just wanted to disappear for a while. I was sitting on a blanket with lots of pillows and chocolates around me.It was a field that was a part of my house. There was grass everywhere. Raising your head, you could see my favourite rose garden in the distance, which was spreading a beautiful fragnance in the air. I inhaled deeply and the fragnance reached to my heart, making me calm down. I used to love this place and I think I still do.I

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE

SIA'S POV Sunlight was peeking through my windows, but I was already awake due to the nightmares that I always get. I was surprised to know that I didn't get nightmares, the night Hardin was here with me. I have been sitting in my room, checking some documents on my laptop. Something was about to happen, I could sense that. Everything was silent and still for over a week now, which meant that this time, its's going to be something huge. I sighed shutting down the laptop. There is something, that is on my mind for a week now.Even if the world was burning down, I had to patch up with her. I sighed and rubbed my sore neck muscles, while thinking about what to do now.I had dressed up and freshened up earlier. I was wearing a pink sweater with black jeans, while my hairs were tied in a ponytail. I didn't have any makeup on, but I didn't care about it, anymore. I made up my mind and
