Chapter 11
Sabrina's house was so big and beautiful. Big chandeliers were hanging from the ceiling. The tiles were white and black; the wall was jet black and there was a painting hanging on the walls. Oh, a typical house of a witch, but the interior was nice. But it wasn't creepy, it felt so comfortable. Maids in uniform suddenly piled up and greeted us. My mouth hung in awe. "Prepare the guest room," Sabrina ordered the maids. "And prepare some food." "Yes, Your Highness." All the maids said in unison and left, one by one. "Nice house," I mumbled. "Thanks. Follow me." Sabrina said and walked towards the stairs. Layla, Michelle, and I followed her in silence. It fascinated me how the interior of the house was designed. The stairs

Chapter 12
Sabrina brought Layla and me into the mall. Michelle is not with us because she had some important things to do. There are many people lingering around the place. I'm not comfortable around these people. I always reminded myself that these people are humans and I can't harm them. My blood thirst is worse here. But Sabrina planned this for me to control my thirst, which was so difficult. I am trying so damn hard not to jump into the human's neck. It was tempting, especially that I can see through their blood all around their bodies like a scanner. I can hear people's heartbeats loudly and it was so tempting. "Hey! Sabrina!"  My attention diverted to a woman who was walking towards Sabrina with excitement. The woman was wearing an off-shoulder floral dress. Her long wavy blonde hair was cascading down her back

Chapter 13
The wind blows angrily in every direction. The trees swung, and the leaves were falling everywhere. Then, I saw something pouring from the sky. Snow. I stop and look up at the sky. This is the first time that Layla is not with me at the first snowfall of the year. We always enjoy watching and playing together in the snow. But I am too far away from Layla right now. I still can't believe that I teleported myself in the forest not far away from the Shepherds' pack where Azrael felt pain and almost died because of me. But I still despise him, though. When he said he wanted to come with me, I was hesitant. Instead, I asked him if we could go back to his packhouse. And now we were walking towards his territory while I was asking him questions. Azrael told me everything about what happened to all the Blueming packs. I couldn't help but feel sad. The vampires who we

Chapter 14
Azrael and Beta Lucian transformed into their wolf form. They were still fighting canines to canines. That made me furious. I closed my eyes and let my power flow around my body. The moment I opened my eyes, it glowed brightly with two different colors—green and blue. Everything in the room was floating, including the two wolves that were fighting. They look at me in shock. They tried to move, but I didn't let them. I motion my right and left hand to them, using my powers—I pinned the two wolves in the wall. They stare at me in horror. Then, I spoke dangerously, "I will kill you both if you don't stop." I have four different voices coming from my mouth, from my wolf's spirit Xandra, my vampire spirit Val, my witch spirit Willow, and mine. Their hearts beat at a quicker pace in fear. Then there's a banging on the door, but they can't open it. I eyed the two wo

Chapter 15
[Azrael's POV]   Seeing her vanish in front of me was so painful. My heart shattered into small pieces. It was so excruciating. Damn. My heart was so heavy. My wolf, Khael, also whimpers because of pain. He just wanted to feel our mate and to be by our mate's side. He was still blaming me, though. The moment I saw her face again, I knew I was in love with her. Those eyes were the most ravishing thing I have ever seen in my whole life. Even though she was so scary a while ago, I couldn't help but admire her more. She is the most beautiful and the strongest girl I have ever known. She has no fear. I still can't believe that my mate is a hybrid. I thought she's an omega, but it turns out she's one of the most powerful creatures on this planet. The moment she used her powers, her powerful aura almost took my breath a

Chapter 16
[Alexandria’s POV] My heart was heavy as I entered Sabrina's mansion. All the maids greeted me and I just nodded. I am not in the mood right now. I am thinking about Azrael. His sad look keeps flashing in my head. He's all I could think of at this moment. "Alex!!" Layla happily ran towards me and engulfed me in a hug. "Thank god, you're okay!" I smile faintly. She frowned when she looked at me. "What happened?" Layla knows right away if something was wrong with me. "Azrael..." I whispered sadly. She looks surprised when I mention the name. "Tell me, wh

Chapter 17
Azrael still didn't wake up after an hour. Maybe it was the effect of the poison. I sighed and stood up from the bed. I really need blood right now. My vision is slowly turning red. My bloodthirst is getting worse. It made me feel weak. It's getting harder to control, especially if I am so thirsty for blood. There's a light knock on the door when I tried to twist the doorknob. I opened the door and Layla's worried face greeted me. I gasped a little when she hugged me. I closed my eyes as I tried to control myself, not to suck on Layla's neck. "Alex, are you okay?" she asked while frowning. Worry is still clear in her eyes. I nodded. She frowned while staring behind my back. I followed where she's looking, and she fixed her eyes on Azrael, who was still peacefully sleeping in my bed. Layla gasped.

Chapter 18
[Third Person POV] Vorges, the Vampire King’s son, was grinning widely while walking the hallway towards the King's throne room. Other vampires looked at him with brows furrowed. They barely saw him entering the castle. With respect to their King’s son, they bowed their heads. Some greeted Vorges, but he just swiftly passed by them, as his time was more precious than chit-chatting around like a useless vampire. He knew his fellow vampires hated his guts. So he didn’t bother getting along with them.  The big double wooden door automatically opened when he stopped at the entrance. With head held high, he quickly entered inside the wide room with a dark marble floor, where a man in the ce

Chapter 20
When Willow let me back in front again, I was just staring at the black box she got earlier in Alpha Rick's secret room. I was hesitant to open the black box but I am curious what was inside. The box is 14 inches wide and 8 inches in height. I tried to lift it up and boy it was heavy!
