Ch-50  Three days later…  “I don’t know what they are thinking. For the past four years, we never saw our President even for once. If I don’t see her now, I will sell my shares,” one person said.  “Yes, she can’t even trust her people,” another one commented.   “It’s like insulting us,” another added."I wonder a President like this would even suit to handle the enterprise," Mrs. Parkinson one of the board members said straightly. Even though people were surprised at her words but she was right at some point. The board room turned noisy. Just then

Ch-52   “Austin, I have to say something,” Abigail said when they were about to enter the castle.    “Yes?” he asked.    “I am pregnant,” she said.    “I know,” he said with a smile.    “How?” she asked.    “I saw the report,” he replied.    “Then why didn’t you tell me?” she asked.    “I am waiting for you to say to me,” Austin replied.    She pouted. When the physician left, Samantha just cursed Austin. And the maids who were there in the chamber let out the word. Samantha forgot that this wasn’t earth where her angry snarls and other things would stay hidden.  “That Austin! He is such a

Ch-58  When Orion was in his thoughts, Alaric Gladwin, his personal advisor entered his study grumbling about how Lady Kim was so rude to him. Even Samantha mesmerized him with her character. Well, he wasn’t mesmerized romantically but as a person. She was strong and straight to the point. She cared about her friend and her future. When Abigail started standing up for herself, she said nothing only stood there observing as if she knew Abigail was capable of defending herself. He liked their friendship. He even envied their friendship for a second. But also glad that Abigail has at least someone to stand up for her.  “What happened, Alaric?” Orion asked.  “My Lord, the woman with Lady Grace is so annoying,” he complained.
