Chapter 20 - Stuffy Suit ‘It’s okay, at least you can use it as cover.’ Nova, knowing that I hate the heat inside the suit, assured me.

Chapter 22 - You can’t decide what’s important for other people ‘This fucking bitch.’ The girl thought to herself as she opened a pink bag that was sitting under the table. The girl saw a wallet, sanitizer, pen, and paper. There was nothing other than that and it made her frown even more. She grabbed the black wallet and opened it to see 10 bucks in cash and no cards other than her I.D. ‘Is this even her bag?’ The girl searched and couldn’t find anything of importance other than her wallet, it didn’t even have any cards in it. ‘This’ll do.’ The girl took out the wallet and the pink keychain with Yvonne’s name hanging from the pink bag and stood up. She looked around and walked away before anyone could see her. The girl came at a right time where the cells were empty and the prison booth was on break. &ls

Chapter 24 – Abuse (1) *SLAP* “YOU WITCH!” Demi felt disoriented by the heavy slap she just received. She lost her balance and tried to support herself by leaning on the door. Demi felt my vision go around which was followed by a headache.  “Father, calm down!” Victor who was following his father was petrified by what had just happened and rushed between his father and his sister. He was angry by the news they received earlier, but not angry to the point that he wants to hit her.  “Get out of the way before I do anything to you, Jonathan.” Michael said threatening his son. What happened mom?” The small victor was about to greet her when he saw the bruise. It seemed that he hasn’t visited the woman in days since he didn’t see the bruise.

Chapter 28 – Artifact (2) Demi’s POV  ‘Why does she have Ephyl’s necklace?’ Nova said whilst staring at Natalie’s keychain.  “Ephy- who?” I asked. No one heard me talking to Nova since my voice was somewhat muffled by the mascot head.  ‘Ephyl’s necklace, she’s not supposed to have it.’ I looked at Natalie’s keychain which was dangling on her phone case. It was a gold chain with a small blue diamond in between two snakes. Their mouths were wrapped around the blue gem as if trying to eat it.  ‘And what does it exactly do, for you to react that way?’  ‘It’s…my sister’s necklace.’ Nova said in a serious tone.
