CH 1 || Samaira

Samaira ****** I woke up at 6 a.m. despite sleeping at 4 in the morning. This temporary insomnia occurs whenever I get nightmares of that night. I still can't forget what happened 3 years ago.It's not like I never tried, but that dreadful memory doesn't leave me alone.After getting up from bed, I did my morning chores and got ready in my jogging clothes.I was not a morning person before but I have changed now.I went down to go to the nearby park for jogging. I saw Ishu Bhai already waiting for me.No one leaves me alone after that incident. No matter if it's jogging or shopping, someone always tags along, and if not, then there are bodyguards hired by Dad to follow me. I know they are being protective but I have started to feel caged.Well, there is one more reason why Bhai started to come along with me to jog, Adya.Yes, my best friend Adya. I and Adya met in college. Bhai was a senior.

CH 2 || The Unanticipated Meeting

Samaira******My father is a renowned businessman. He and Rishabh Uncle started their organization when they were not even married. He recently retired from the post of CEO and bequeathed it to Ishu Bhai. Ishaan Kashyap(my Ishu Bhai) has become a popular name now, he has worked day and night to earn that post and everyone's trust for himself. My family wanted me to work in Dad's company but I denied.I understand how protective they are but when it came to my career, I took my stand and told them that I will make my own identity.Convincing them was one hell of a task but Bhai helped me. And that's how I ended up in M.N.K Industries. It's not a big firm like my father's but I love working here. No one here knows my real identity. I am appreciated for my work and that's what I always wanted."Hey, what are you thinking? Go, get ready. We need to leave soon. Your clothes are in the closet." Adya told me and I came out of my incessant thoughts. I and

CH 3 || Namit

Namit******It's 7 in the morning and my plane is about to land. It's been more than 3 years but I couldn't gather the courage in those 3 years to come to India, where my family resides. I was so much filled with hatred towards her that I detached myself from everything which reminds me of her. I never came back to Delhi because I knew she too lives here and it won't be easy for me. I agree I was being a coward but not anymore. I left because of her and now I came back only because of her.My plane landed and now I am headed towards M.N.K Industries. Yeah I know it's too early but I am being impatient. I want to see her. I came to know about her being an employee in my Uncle's company not long ago. I reached at 8 in the office. When I was about to go further towards the lift the receptionist stopped me and started asking me who do I want to meet, if I have an appointment, and that literally irritated me. No one ever dared to talk to me like that and when I turn

CH 4 || My Sama

FLASHBACK(3 MONTHS BACK)Namit******I got up with a severe headache. I drank a lot last night. It has become a habit now, whenever I miss her terribly I drink too much. I looked around and saw I was on the 3 floors of my building where I have set up my own minibar. I was not a fan of drinking but now I drink till I get unconscious so that I don't think about her. There are only two important things in my life now, my work and alcohol, either I work tirelessly or I drink. The more I get myself engaged the easier it gets for me to not think for her.But what am I doing in my mini-bar, the last I remember I was with a client yesterday night in Peter's club and I drank a lot.....that's all I remember.I got up holding my head because the pain was really killing me. I went towards the lift and pressed the button for 4 floors. I went directly towards my room and watched the time. Shit, it's 12 p.m. Today was supposed to be the meeting with Italian clie

FLASHBACK(3 MONTHS BACK) CONTINUED.....Namit******I never knew that I will ever have to deal with a situation like this one day. But I am thankful that I have these two idiots beside me. So now we are seated in the living room and obviously, they need answers, I too need answers but I don't know whom should I ask. I think I will have to figure it out later but before that, I need to tell Arjun and Dhruv the truth because only they can help me in finding those answers."Namit, we are waiting. You said you will tell us everything that's why we stopped bombarding our questions on you. But for that, you have to speak."Arjun said. I can see how worried and anxious they are, and to tell them what happened I have to start from the beginning."I saw her in college in Dhruv's section when I went to return his jacket. She was so cheerful, so fun-loving. I couldn't take my eyes off her. I had never seen someone like her. Dhruv was not in the class so I was

CH 6 || Forgive Me

Namit******I went into the house with uncle and I was mentally prepared to be scolded by everyone, afterall everyone was hurt because of my selfish nature. But I can't tell them that I was being selfish in order to not hurt them as I knew if they would have seen my previous self they would have gotten hurt for sure. I went into the living room and there I saw Nitya, Riddhi and Rohit talking to each other and watching a movie. Rohit is Neeraj uncle's son and my cousin and Riddhi is his wife. Riddhi,Rohit,me , Dhruv and Arjun are childhood friends. We all studied in same school and after that Rohit and Riddhi went to Germany to study. I, Dhruv and Arjun went to New York where Arjun chose to study law and me and Dhruv chose business management. Riddhi always loved Rohit but Rohit was unaware of her feelings but finally she confessed to him in Germany and he reciprocated her feelings. They got married 7 months back in India but I didn't attend. I had my reason which only

CH 7 || Dance With Me

Samaira******I was getting ready for the party. My family already reached there and we girls were running late."Sammy we are getting late, come out fast." I heard Adya yelling from outside."If Aditi had brought anything simple for me I would have been at the party right now Adya." I replied to her while wearing the dress. Seriously I don't know why Aditi brought something like this. Even though the dress is very beautiful but I really hate gathering unwanted attention. It's a silver nude colour cold shouldered gown with butterfly sleeves having a v-neckline and low v-back.It's a silver nude colour cold shouldered gown with butterfly sleeves having a v-neckline and low v-backI tried to convince Aditi but even Adya supported her and I finally had to agree to wear it. I really liked it but I don't feel confident in presenting myself in front of so many people in this dress and that's the reason I was taking more time."Sammy it's 7

CH 8 || No one messes with what's mine

Namit******I reached the venue of the party earlier as I was the organiser. As the clock struck 7 p.m people started joining and my eyes were searching only for her. I was getting anxious and the thoughts of her not coming to the party clouded my mind."Namit, come here son." Dad called me and I went to him. He introduced me to none other than Samaira's parents. I greeted them and was soon introduced to all her family members except her. My thought of her not coming to the party was becoming a reality but when dad asked Arvind uncle "Where is Samaira?" to which uncle replied, "She will be here shortly with her friends." and after hearing that I sighed in relief. I called Aditi to inform her about the backside entrance so that Samaira doesn't have to face the paparazzi at the front gate, which will only make her feel uncomfortable. I went to second floor as that was totally arranged for youngsters. I was getting anxious and my eyes were glued to the gate.

CH 9 || One Of A Kind

Samaira******His one hand was on my waist and he was holding my hand with his other hand. Our moves were in sync as we were dancing along with the rhythm on my favourite song. He twirled me around and pulled me closer to him not leaving an inch of space between us. Now my both hands were on his chest and I could feel his hot breathe near my lips. I looked up at him, he was holding my waist with one hand while his other hand was now in my hairs. He tilted my head and looked at my lips and I knew what was coming. I could see the love as well as lust in his eyes. I squeezed my eyes shut and held him tightly.....but nothing happened. I waited but nothing happened.Wait did he just rejected me? My eyes were shut and he was just shaking me, but why is he doing that? And then I heard some voices which were definitely not his."Sammy Di wake up." I heard Simran yelling. I opened my eyes only to find myself on my bed and Simran and Sonia sitting on either side of me. I
