Her eyes gazing at Colfre who was unexpectedly watching her through their reflection in the mirror. She smiled timidly. She heaved a sigh and averted her gaze, looking at the canopy of her bed.     "Then the rest is history. Ever since that day, there was a void that grows inside of me. Every night it felt like the voices of the people I killed haunts me. Every night I wake up just to find myself in the middle of this room, alone in the darkness. CHAPTER FIFTY
Colfre's skin glistened as the soft glow of the moonlight from outside shone on his toned body. Shutting his eyes tightly as his already tensed muscles contract and relax with every deep breath he takes. Frustration and guilt are evident in every sigh. Scars from military training are visible on his broad shoulders and muscular back, from small cuts to deep slashes that are all now fading away from his skin. The skin on his neck down flushed with crimson colors. All his senses are still feverish as the picture of the woman in his arms lingers at the back of his mind. Even with half of his body dipped in cold water the ardent sensation of kissing Morrigan hanged around his system. Feeling her petite body against his body, and her soft moans like music in his ears. All of those things played in his mind vividly. He runs his hand on his ginger hair exasperatedly. Heaving a deep sigh as he rests his head by the side of the tub, with his arms propped by the side of the tub. His shoulder

Days and weeks passed by in a blur. The gloomy days are now welcomed by the bright sun. Brightly shining and illuminating the Kingdom of Hymir. Morrigan didn't notice how the days goes by for she had shut herself in the palace, going back and forth of her office, then teaching Rita calligraphy, and taking care of Colfre who is now recuperating well. She had not taken any rest from the state affairs and she just found herself a time to sit by the tree in the garden, reminiscing of the past how she and her sister read books or sing folklore under the tree. Despite the weather slowly getting humid, Morrigan still wears clothes of dark and dull colors, if not a striking red dress like what she was wearing as she rests by the tree. With a black bodice hugging her body, and a tunic under her bodice. Giving it an illusion of flowy sleeves that drapes her arms. The hem of her dress is not as heavy as her usual skirts. Wearing fewer petticoats made her move freely and a lot of unconstraint.

The silence in the room is bothering them that the queen did not even want to talk nor to break it. "What happened again?" Her voice cold and laced with irritation makes the guards in front of her shake in fear.   Morrigan could feel her head throbbing when the news
