Rain patters on  her face while the rest of her body lays flat on the puddle. Each time she tries to move the pain only worsens. The weapon still pierced her abdomen and the blood continuously dripped from the wound. Staining her grey shirt as if it was poison. Which is which?
When Ava opened her eyes she found herself lying in a familiar and comforting cushion. It was a beige couch she used to fall asleep in, while waiting for dinner as a kid. Though it was not the reason why she was in awe. She can't believe what she saw. When she stood up, the whole atmosphere shifted from their old house's living room into something grand. She was sure that before she lost consciousness, she was transported by an ambulance to the hospital.  Am I dead?  She wanted to say it out loud but no voice came through. This better not be heaven or is it hell, stepping up its game? "You really have some serious trust issues, kid. Sorry to burst your bubble but it's neither of the two." A v

Bring it on!
After giving a serious thought on what Emett said earlier, Fiel can’t sit tight and do nothing. “Excuse us a bit dearie, “ Fiel’s lips twitch from her awkward smile. Grabbing both boys in their ears dragging them in a far corner of the playhouse. While Ava subconsciously nods in submission.  Her charms are a force to be reckoned with. Even more dangerous than that time hermit. Meanwhile the three huddled. “Did you hear that Em? It almost made her head hurt hearing those sounds all at once. "Will we lose her for good this time? I can't take it love. She's still got so much ahead of her."  When she heard that familiar soothing voice, glaze with worry it's as if those grating noises faded in the background. Her right hand automatically flew to her mouth and found herself staring at Emett. He shone the brightest in his golden aura against the

Fragmented memory lane
It’s been a week since Ava was discharged from the hospital. She always finds herself thinking about a particular memory that doesn’t add up. She was not a firm believer of the supernatural phenomenon but it’s the only angle she can look at. In order to convince herself that she’s not insane. While she was lost in her thoughts the room lit up with the light of a numeral candle. Sticking out on top of an eight inch blueberry cheesecake.“Happy birthday to you~” The couple sang as they walked closer to her. Dave was holding Caia while Claire held the cake.Ava was sporting a classic bed head. Her jet black full bangs remained in place though. Compared to her middle-back length hair with tangled ends. If there's one thing she does effortlessly, it was lashing out on others but she sucked at showing gratitude.

Everything goes wrong
Ava was about to grab the door knob but it was opened for her. She went in and  was dumbfounded seeing the actual interior and ambiance of the place. It was blindingly fancy. From the sparkly chandeliers, furniture and enticing aroma of foods. Busy waiters and waitresses, shuffling through customers and their orders. The type of place where well off people drop by for one pricey cup of coffee just because they can. She immediately felt the status gap sink in. "Welcome to Clique Cafe, how may I be of service to you today, Milady?"  Her eyes held back from wandering when she heard that submissive greeting. She clicked her tongue in annoyance yet found herself compelled. When her green eyes met hers, she felt like she was in a trance. Sensing familiarity even though they were complete strangers.
