Gracie had told me about the accomodation, It's a fifteen minutes walk to the fashion house. I spent days preparing my clothes to move to a town that smells like the absence of my parents. A town devoid of my parent's chaos .The Uber driver helped me carry my suitcases from the bolt. His quietness throughout the ride earned him a five stars rating one the app. I have always cherished a silent ride, especially with strangers. One time i had entered an uber with a loud driver, he spoke even when he wasn't getting responses from me. He cried about the country's predicament, cursed everyone that voted for the current government. He even quarreled with everything on the road."Thank you" I said to the uber driver as he entered his car. It felt so great to have my own apartment. I had been there on Friday to see the new place, it's warm and comfortable. I'd take anything to get away from my parents.
