Carmila eyed the entrance of Starry Sea studio production, waiting for the male lead of the drama, And Then There Was You. Today was the start of their highly anticipated car-chasing scene where the male lead's past with the bad crowd emerge, endangering the female protagonist because of their relationship. Seline Chan arrived earlier, Carmila had expected it. But George... George is another matter. He's been an hour late now, and the preparations are nearly done. She's a hair-width away from calling Jana to ask about George's whereabouts. Not that she had the right to know. The director knew about the reason. Looks like George had called him in advance. The man unhurriedly ordered the staff around while briefing Seline. "Okay, nice team. Treat yourselves with a cup of coffee. Your dear George sent these snacks to compensate his tardiness today. I say we should forgive him because this is the first time that it happened." One of the producers walk beside the director as they ta

'People make problems for themselves.' That was the morning quote that Vivien gave her when she Jana woke up the next morning. George flick Jana's hands off of him. "Do you know what they told me when I walk out of the studio? Jana, they all accused me of sabotaging them." Jana lowered her head but she refused to say sorry. "They told me that I kept you to harm my colleagues at work! Jana, my head is hurting right now. I can't even look at you without feeling any dislike. I asked you to find the truth about my parents death but now you're actually telling me that my grandparents lied?" He gripped his hair tight and painfully. He snapped, "Are you out of your fucking mind?!" "You ask me to learn the truth, and now this is the facts that you always wanted to know. Why are you looking at me like that? I never asked for this, George. You should have known it that someday, my identity my will blow up and smear your status the moment you offered me the job. I thought you know the risk?" "Was it me who said it to Carmilla? Was it me who made an assumption and tell everyone about it? George you're supposed to

George longed to tell Jana that he's sorry. It has been five days but he still can't contact her. Their fight had been useless— he would be the first to admit that his mind can be easily befuddled once his family gets involved in a conversation. It has always been the source of unease and insecurity in him. The fact that he's blind of the happenings that lead him to be motherless makes him restless and anxious. He had already blacklisted Carmila and asked the people in the studio to never talk with him if it's regarding Bernice of the east. His uncle's help in denying Jana's involvement helped a lot as well. He could only be grateful. It was his Uncle Sanders who first contacted Jana by mail. He sent her the digital copy of the contract they had agreed upon. Once finalized, it will be printed and manually signed. Unfortunately, the paper was never printed. And the ink had dried, yet the signature wasn't anywhere on the surface. ______________ March 17, the seventh day since
