The papers laid listless in front of Jana. After biting her lower lips 'til it has gotten a red hue, she unwillingly submitted to disappointment. Still, she could not accept that her efforts went to waste. "Vivien, are there any safe hidden inside this room?" "The system has scanned the place as we arrived, host. There's no such thing." 'How can that be? The director sure has to keep something valuable inside his office!' "With the school's practices, it's not a surprise to know that the director hides all of his important belongings inside his personal chamber. After all, this small office barely has something that looks significant to his person." Jana considered Vivien's words. She agreed silently. With the careful set-up of Hyacinth's plan, her backer should be someone with a cautious personality. That's right. Even inside this small but lavish office, it seems like the man never liked to stay here if it doesn't require work. He barely has any personal belongings inside.

Felicity sat dejectedly in front of her book. The tests are coming and she need to work hard just like everybody else does. Unfortunately, Hyacinth took a large chunk off of her concentration that day. She can't read a thing with proper understanding. "Have you seen Melody?" Felicity raised her head to look at Sarah. She's a chubby girl living next to her dorm. They were not classmates but it's not difficult to know her in the crowd. She's loud and a little chubby. "Yes. Not too long ago." Felicity pointed at the librarian's desk. "I think she just left." "Ugh... don't be friends with her, okay? She's a scheming lizard. She even left me here." She displayed a timely smile before duking her head back to the book. Sarah has a weird relationship with her friends. They always fight but they won't leave each other alone. 'Maybe that's why Hyacinth wants to target them.' The girl didn't tell her what's the ruckus all about but she hinted about the three friends who were stupid

The hospital was strangely familiar to Jana. The cold air was bitting incessantly on her skin. It was the least of her favorite sensations in the world. The roles she's offered to play were all either canon fodders with tragic ending, or villains with the same tragic ending. At first, she was vexed and angry about the OOC feature. It was hard trying to save yourself but you're not allowed to move outside the comfort zone of the character that you're acting as. Now with the crisp promise of being free after completing ten mission consecutively and the damned OOC feature finally turned off, Jana couldn't be happy enough. This is practically a golden leaf bestowed to her. There's no way she's going to let the chance pass by. "Hello, miss. I'd like to know Lizette Drake's room number." The nurse behind the desk was incredibly young and friendly. She even smiled a little with Jana. "May I know your relationship with the patient, ma'am?" "I'm… her classmate. Myriad White." Jana fidge

Jana redeemed her determined state of mind when she get out of Lizzy's room. She fished her phone out of her pocket and dialed Denise' number. As she paced slowly in the hallway. The woman answered the call within three rings. Jana hurriedly relied the information she learned when she noticed a middle-aged man walking slowly in her direction. "It was not the director but Mr. Brooks! That's why it was easy for him to cut off the power sources in school without getting caught. He knows about the CCTV footages in every part of the school and he can give permission for Hyacinth to roam the school even if it's supposedly prohibited." Denise gasped. "Fudge, Jana. What should we do now?" "Proceed to the plan. We will only change our target. We need to get Mr. Brooks send to jail so that Lizzy won't be scared anymore." Jana ruffled her hair with shaking hands. "He threatened to kill Lizzy's parents that's why she resulted to acting strange. We should help her." "Ms. White." The man i

The lights flickered. Jana thought she should stop staring at it and actually continue answering her paper. How come she didn't imagine school to be this hard? She remembered using this formula last night... but she actually forgot everything. Maybe she's suffering from short term memory loss. She hates to disappoint her boyfriend. Austin's expectant eyes this morning work its way straight to Jana's heart. She can't have those eyes look down on her. Myriad has no one but she can still make Austin proud, right? 'Why am I even imagining it right now when I couldn't even answer one problem?' Jana bit the tip of her pen, asking why does the lord god keep on testing her everyday. When the first part of their whole day exam finished, Jana was nauseated to the point of oblivion. The only thing that kept her from falling to the ground is the appointment she had made with Hyacinth. "She wants to meet you today." Jana dusted the imaginary dirt on her shoulder. She felt as though the te
