Heading Back to Black Entertainment the next day felt nostalgic to Grace. The feeling of excitement mixed with fear and anxiety remained the same, like the first day she had walked through the huge doors of the building in hopes for a better life. Grace clutched on to the little blue file in her hand, one that contained the unprofessional CV she had managed to create after deciding not to cry again and finally searching on the internet as she wasn’t experienced in creating one. Grace’s eyes were puffy, and her naturally blue eyes were red, She had cried for the whole of the night only stopping when she remembered she had a job the next day. Grace stood In front of the huge building with a smile, Though she was scared inside, she decided not to tremble from it, rather, She put on a cool exterior and walked into the office.   Grace partially knew her way around the company, She could remember some faces especially Jane a receptionist at the main lobby who

Doris Denver sat crossed legged on the Black wooden seat hidden behind the huge office desk at the centre. A slow jazz song played through the huge office and D.D moved her head slowly to the sound of the song while her eyes followed the pages of the file she was flipping in her hands. Two persons, A man and A woman both dressed in cooperate attire stood in front of the desk with their hands both folded to the back.   Grace walked into the office with her tiptoe and her head first making sure not to make a noise. Once in, She tried closing the door gently behind herself, but that was a huge fail. Her plan to be discreet was a fail as the door made a creek sound once it connected to the wall. The eyes of the three persons in the room immediately turned to face her.   D.D who was reading a file closed it up and placed it on the table before pulling her glasses and placing it on the table.   “Welcome Miss Win

Work was exhausting, I had barely Arranged all the files assigned before the time was up, I was exhausted after the two hours was up. Emotionally drained, I managed to move away’ with the hefty documents, I took them from my desk and made my way to Ms. Denver’s office. Her Office felt more father than before, bit I knew it was my mind playing tricks. I Knocked twice, Before waiting for a ‘Come In’, But I heard none, Rather the Door opened and Gerard walked gracefully out after I stepped to the side. I turned towards his desk, I was confused and the look on my face confirmed it to him, “I didn’t see You Get up”. Gerard pouted, We were still standing at entrance of Ms. Denver’s office, “Well you seemed very invested in your worked..”, He narrowed his eyes at me, “And I don’t think I should report where I go to you huh?”. Stupid Me,!, “Sure, Well I should go drop this in”. I said and Gerard moved for me to enter. I quickly moved to Ms Denver’s table, I laid out the Files on her table

“Meredith was the love of his life”. Jason Said to her, before downing his Drink. Grace’s drink Dropped from her hand to the table, It’s content threatened to spill but with the distant being so near, it couldn’t. She ignored the Occurrence and fell back to her seat, much like an act of defeat, instead of the I test which Jason was Hoping and waiting for her to have. “Oh”, Jason heard her say, a one syllable word that left nothing more to question or understand. “Why did you ask?”, Jason asked her, He wanted to inquire, bit tried to be casual about it. “I have heard a lot, Just thought to know”. Grace said looking away, Her bright face had deemed and the most interesting thing was now her meal which she was hardly interested in. “Everyone tries to know, Mr Black is a man of Mystique,” Jason Tittered, “Much could be rumour, but there is always truth lying in between”. Jason said again. Grace looked up this time, She knitted her brow at him, She won
