Chapter 1(a): At the Orphanage

The Little Kids Orphanage and School located in the outskirts of town was well known for taking care of orphans. It was known for its strict rules and regulations and was quite normal to see new orphans coming in every day, Thank you. That was a regular evening and the weather suggested that the unexpected rain would happen. The orphanage only watchman was sitting comfortably near the main gate — having his regular tea. He noticed, for the first time, a group of people were driving towards the Orphanage. He thought they were going to donate something. To his surprise, there was a boy with them; Maybe by the age of 10 or 11 — he was handsome with silky hair and he looked very quiet and sad. Chapter 1(b): At the Orphanage

Sunday Morning: — It was Sunday and all the students were in the playground. Some of them were running — some of them sliding and some fighting friendly. The boy sat on a rock far from the playground and watched all the students playing. He wanted to play, wanted to slide but did not know how to ask — he had no hope except to watch them playing. — Suddenly, his eyes moved to a puppy who was playing in the playground — it was roaming all over the playground and was trying to catch the butterflies with his little teeth. For the first time the boy smiled — he liked that little animal. Slowly, the puppy covered the entire playground and walked towards him. It started wagging it's tail and his tongue was out. Chapter 1(c): At the Orphanage

The boy and the puppy started walking to the dormitory. The boy looked at the puppy with a smile on his face, felt him very close, no fear, no anxiety — he was normal. He bent down on one of his knees and said his first word in his mind. "—Thank you—" "—You saved me... You are my best friend " He sat on the ground and began to think of what to name him. Chapter 2(a): At the Village

Early Morning, The weather was very pleasant and the wind was calm. The village streets, the houses, the roads looked so refreshing. Abhi was in the truck with his pet, TITLE - He managed to get in the truck last night. The truck with the boy was going somewhere, he was still awake and enjoyed the trip, the weather and the green hills were never so beautiful. A breeze ruffled his silky hair and he slowly fell asleep. After a long journey, the truck stopped in the vicinity of the village. Chapter 2(b): At the Village

— Abhi just stared at her in silence. Akshara thought if he didn't want to talk and walked out of the room.— Akshara was playing; her voice was heard at every corner of the house. Abhi, however, was lying silently in his bed. Night: It was midnight and the cloudy sky outside suggested unexpected rain would happen. Abhi rolled over inside his blanket and slept calmly. There was a fresh breeze in his room.— It started raining cats and dogs. TITLE, who slept on the balcony, drenched in the rain. Chapter 2(c): At the Village

Abhi slowly walked to the hill and spent time by the pond with TITLE.— Next day, again, Abhi waited for Akshara at the school; but she did not appear. He waited for her for at least 3 days, but of no use. — Four days later, Akshara's family returned from her grandma's home. She was treated because of her ill health — she was all right now, will stay healthy for years. Akshara, as she went to school, like every day, was excited to meet her best friend ;Abhi.In her dismay, she didn't see him anywhere. She had to go to the classroom, as the morning bell rang.— It was a sunny day, and Akshara sat quietly in her class; probably thinking of her friend.Slowly, her eyes shifted to the playground, which was a little far from her school. Chapter 3(a): 12 Years Later

Nearly twelve years had passed since Abhi had left his favorite place and his only best friend.— The Sun rose on the tidy brown fields and beautiful houses in the village called "VITHURA," surrounded by green hills at every corner. The sunrays litup the last house in the village that was built a long time ago — it has a lovely front yard and a maxi truck was parked outside. Those sunrays crept into its living room. Although the house was old, it was fine, and every house item was beautifully arranged and the calendar on the wall displayed a date; 1994, October 28. The living room was well furnished with elegant vases and wall paintings. It has stairs connected to the bedroom made of wood. Chapter 3(b): 12 Years Later

Abhi was surprised to see himself at an unknown place. He was sure that it was not the place he was looking for, and at the same time Gabriel got out of the truck; he said bye to Johnson and walked away. Johnson reached a place; probably the last house in the village — It was located at a place which was covered with green hills and a waterfall. Johnson seemed to be staying alone; as no other person could be seen in the house. — It was night and the sound of crickets could be heard all around the corners— Abhi kept his hands close to his chin and was sitting on the front door staring at the stars; he was probably thinking how to go to his village. Chapter 3(c) : 12 Years Later

— Abhi without thinking about a second turned his truck back and followed the hill. He travelled some distance, it was on the right side of the road he noticed a sign that said, "— Welcome to Vinnur— ." — It started to drizzle when Abhi entered the village and the village was barely changed, the roads were almost the same and most of them were shrouded with fog due to the cool breeze. He looked here and there, and his eyes turned to a place that looked like a school, almost broken down, and it looked like it had been operated for a very long time. Morning: Abhi was making Tea by the time TITLE arrived in the kitchen with his bowl. Abhi put the tea glass on the table and filled TITLE's bowl with his favorite food.
