Check Mate のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 31 - チャプター 40

》》Roxanne《《I took a deep breath before getting out of bed. I was going to see Adrian after about two months of her disappearance. I had to ensure Jason didn't find out, though I highly doubt he would. When he's depressed he doesn't notice anything. After freshening up I went to the living room. Jason was asleep on the couch in a very awkward position. Not really surprised since he's always sleeping in a funny position. I thought I should rearrange him so he he wouldn't wake up with a stiff neck or shoulder but it would be funny to hear him whine in pain so I left him.I went to the kitchen to make breakfast for myself. I had a long day ahead of me so i had to have a decent breakfast.I was

》》Roxanne《《"Everything."I sighed and looked down at the floor. I was in a position where... I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how to help. I was out of words, out of suggestions. It was hopeless. I felt like I was losing my brother again. When we lost mom, Jason had completely shut down. He didn't talk, he didn't eat, he didnt even react. He was a walking zombie. It was hard for all of us cause his attitude made our recovery harder. It took a great deal to get him back to normal.I don't wanna lose Jason again. He's already fading away. Drifting further and further away. He was just losing himself. He was already distancing himself from me.

》》Roxanne《《 Jack and Jason were good again. They were back to chilling together, going for drinks, Jack even hooked Jason up with a girl saying that he needs to get over Adrian. But knowing my brother he is never gonna get over her. I went to see Adrian two weeks ago, she had rejected me saying she wanted nothing to do with Jason or me or Jack, she wanted to be alone. Melvin told me she was even started to drift away from him. Melvin and I became somewhat good friends. Though I was starting to lose feelings for him. He wasn't my type. Dont get me wrong, hes a good guy. He is charming, good looking but he is still a virgin. I don't know how the hell that's possible but he is. And indont do virgins, i like learning new tricks in the bedroom

》》Roxanne《《I knocked on the door. "I seriously think we shouldn't do this," Melvin said anxiously."Do you wanna save your sister or not?" I enquired eyeing him.He smiled, "You're so bossy."I rolled my eyes before knocking again. The door was opened and I clicked record on my phone. I was almost shocked to see Adrian. I mean it was normal to gain weight during pregnancy and but she looked really different. Not because of the weight gain alone but becuase of the look in her eyes.Something Jason said Adrian and I had in common was the fire in our eyes. But it seemed the fire had died and everythi

》》Roxanne《《 Jack returned and we went back to our game of chess. Just then there was a knock on the door. I got up and went to open the door. "Tyler? What are you doing here?" "I came to check on Jason, I saw him at the bar drinking uncontrollably and I wanted to make sure he's alright." "He's sleeping now. Would you like to come in?" I asked. "Sure." I stepped aside and let Tyler in. I closed the door. "Roxy, I need to talk to you," Tyler said. "Sure," I sighed. I led her to my
