"Are you sure that spending a day with him is a good idea?" I asked.  I heard her sigh from the other line. "For your well-being, definitely not. But if you really want to solve the mystery between Gin and Dion, well, yes."  When he asked me if we can spend the rest of the day together, I said yes. And now, here I am, in one of the comfort rooms, talking to my best friend, asking if I did the right decision.  I knew I was taking longer than usual here, but I was still contemplating whether to continue with this one or not. But that would be so harsh of me if I change my mind.  "You know what, Zhanaia, the more you spend time with someone, the more you get to know them. And if you will be observant enough, you will find out what he is hiding."  "Really?"  "Hmm. Just don't be dumb not to notice the things that will connect him to Dion, make a mental note, and then we'll talk about them when we see aga

CHAPTER 13   "Uhm, Gin,"   "Zhanaia,"   I felt hot all over when he moaned my name as his lips traveled down on my neck. My hands gripped his shirt as his hand skimmed down my legs and caressed it, while the other one went inside my blouse.   My skin tingled when our skin touched, his slightly calloused hand started sliding up till it reached the wire of my bra. He moved his hand higher till it reached my bra cup and skimmed his thumb and forefinger, I felt my nipples sprung to welcome them.   A soft moan escaped my lips when he tugged my nipple and I arched my back as my mouth parted. Then his other hand gently dragged my blouse up to my neck and pushed my bra cup down.   I knew I should be stopping him from what he was doing, but for a reason, I didn't. I liked it anyway, his touch, his lips, and the way he moaned my name, and the sensation he was making me feel. It has been a long time since the last ti

"Oh my god, you two had a sex?"   I nodded and her eyes widen and even more.   "And you are saying, it wasn't just once, but you had several rounds during the night and the morning after? You two even took a shower together?"   When I nodded for the ninth time around, Caroline's jaw fell in an utter shock. She wasn't expecting that I would do such an act, well, neither I wasn't expecting for that to happen, but yea, it did.   "Gosh, Zhanaia, how?"   I took another sigh and started telling her from the beginning till the afternoon he drove me back to the hotel. And while I was story-telling her what happened, she was in shock. It was visible in her face that she was trying to digest every single word I say.   Of course, I didn't tell her too much information such as detailing what we did on his bet. We had sex, that's it and I'm not gonna tell her more. I wasn't the teen Zhanaia eight years ago who d

Just like what happened to us before we parted ways back in Hongkong, we shared a steamy hot sex the moment the door shut behind us. We were all over the bed and we were so loud, I think this was what they called a makeup sex.  Once we both came, Gin collapsed beside me and immediately fell asleep. Knowing he was tired because he had just come from an hour-long flight and our lovemaking, I let him sleep as I stood up and went out of the bed. I reached for his luggage and searched for his t-shirt and wore it and then I started unpacking his things.  An hour later, I was done putting his clothes in the closet. He mentioned to me a while ago that he would be here a week and he wanted to spend that whole week with me. After that, he would be back in Montreal to focus on sorting out the preparations his company would make for opening its first branch in the Philippines. He even asked me if I wanted to come with him once he go to the Philippines, I told hi

I was not in the mood for the rest of the day when I got home. I locked myself in my room, I didn't talk to anyone even when Heartly greeted me when I stepped into the house. My brother looked at me curiously and attempted to ask what happened but I gave him a dismissing wave which shut him up.  The moment I got inside my room, I shut the door behind me and dive on my bed without minding that I haven't changed clothes yet. I closed my eyes, thinking of what happened; I walked out because he slept with another girl.  Although I wasn't in the place to sulk and feel like this, it still hurt. The moment I heard him say he slept with another girl while we were away from each other, I felt my heart broke into pieces and what hurt me more was the fact that I wasn't in the place to feel like this because I wasn't his girlfriend in the first place. Even if he slept with hundreds of women while I was away, it's completely fine. That wouldn't mean he cheated or
