“Come on, Ms. Kwon.” Porter called Janine politely as he passed by their area. He is calling her to come with him for the end-of-the-month meeting with Mr. Lee.Janine looked at him and nodded, standing up then picked the folders they need for the presentation. To be honest, she’s a little too nervous for this meeting because she never had discussed this with L. She went inside his office just to go through a folder then cuddled with Porter. For twenty minutes, at most. She looked at Porter and he’s looking at her innocently, acting like he didn’t want to hug her tight right now, but he does. She walked after Porter to the elevator. She heard Porter sigh hard and looked at her.“Are you nervous?” He asked her.She nodded slightly. “I don’t know what to report.” She replied. For the first time in her life, she is getting wacked on a simple casual presentation. God knows that she&rsqu

"Are you alright?"Porter asked Janine when he noticed that she's not talking much. It's not like she's talkative and all but she's abnormally quiet. She doesn't even answer Porter’s questions and just kept eating.Porter became worried. If this was about Czarina, he couldn't forgive himself. What in the world is she doing here anyway? She should've just stayed to where she is.Janine just nodded and continued eating her steak, without uttering a single word."Please, Baby, talk to me." He pleaded."I'm not your baby." She curtly replied.Porter sighed. What the hell is wrong with Janine? It's good if she's jealous but she doesn't have to act like this."Janine," he started. "If you're jealous, you could just—”"I'm not jealous. Why do I have to be jealous? I don't have the right to be jealous. Not even a teensy bit of jealousy." She remarked and Porter was taken aback. So, she is jealous. Or may

Janine’s heart couldn’t stop beating really loud upon knowing that Johann is back in town. He’s back and he’s going to see her later. She walked back the office with her mind all over the place.Guilt.Pain.Sadness.She wanted him back, sure. But she didn’t expect that he’s back this early. So, that explains why Johann hasn’t contacted her for two days already.“Are you okay?” Yasmin asked her as she sat on her desk.Yasmin’s voice was a bit loud so everyone looked their way. Even Porter who’s talking to Jonas about a deal glanced at her.Janine looked at Yasmin and nodded. “Uh? Yes. I’m fine.” She lied but Yasmin could see through her. She knows that she’s lying.“Did your boyfriend tell you something sad?” She asked.“Did he hurt you, Manager Kwon? I’ll beat him to death if he comes back! Don’

Porter wouldn’t let Janine go after their meeting in the rooftop. Hell knows how he wanted time to stop right at that moment so he would never be away from her.“You go first,” he told Janine as they got out of the elevator. She nodded and walked ahead to the office.Damn. This girl isn’t ordinary. She will never be ordinary. Her thoughts and feelings would always be a mystery to Porter. Sure he knows that she likes him but to what extent? He didn’t know. Damn, he wanted her to tell him directly. He wanted to hear it from her even though he’s contented of just being the second. He was true to his words when he said he will not be jealous. But God knows he was. That day when she informed him that she’ll spend the night with her boyfriend, he couldn’t sleep. He only had two hours to sleep and he was almost late to the office. He was busy thinking what the two are doing. He shut his eyes. H

Porter was busy playing with Janine’s hair as they cuddled on the couch.Janine was so relieved that Henney wasn’t around. Or else, she would have told her to break up with Johann right here right now.Sure, Henney was all for her happiness but she’s not amenable to cheating. She won’t side with Janine on this. Not when Janine holds her fate on this relationship.“I love you.” Porter whispered making Janine ticklish. He chuckled. “And I’ll love you even more.” He added making Janine chuckle. She gave him a look as she tried her hardest to impose a poker face.“What?” Porter asked but was smiling from ear-to-ear and seeing that makes Janine smile as well. Porter chuckled. “What’s wrong with telling you that I love you?” He asked.Janine narrowed her eyes on him. “Nothing!” She beamed. Perhaps, she’s accepting her fate. She had to choose, even
