It had been a busy day at the tattoo shop with a lot of clients coming in for their body art work. The day had been stressful but finally they were done as they headed back to Nicole's apartment in Charles' car. It was Angela's idea. The plan was simple, Angela and Charles were to escort her back to her apartment and stay with her there until she was ready to leave for Lucas's place and that was what they did. They were now back at Nicole's place. "What time will you be leaving for Lucas' place?", Angela asked, as she sat on the couch in the living room.  They waited in the car about 10 minutes after which Nicole emerged out of the club, carrying two nylon carrier bags. The nylon was opaque, so they couldn't see what was exactly inside but they could make out the shape of the items it contained - it was human blood bags! Charles and Angela were in shock as they both watched her speechless as she opened the booth of her car and dropped them in, before getting into her car and driving off.  Charles didn't utter a word in the car as he started the engine and quickly followed Nicole trailing her at the back. Angela was still in a state of shock as she struggled to make sense of what she had just witnessed. She was already getting emotional as she struggled to control her emotions while taking deep breaths.

 "What do you mean exactly?", Angela asked, seeking clarity. She knew what he meant but she was too scared to even utter the words.  It was now dawn at Angela's apartment, although the sun was yet to rise. The time was 6 AM by the bedside clock and Angela was still wrapped in Charles's arms from last night. They both didn't move an inch as they leaned one each other for support and comfort.  Angela was the first to wake up because she slept more comfortably throughout the night. She looked at the time and she could tell the time was right for both of them to get up from bed.
