Lucas learnt all he could about Ambrosia and Mary as they stayed in their apartment and one thing that stood out for him was that he was the bridge connecting all of them together. He was the link between the witch, the werewolves, the vampire and even the humans. He understood all of them perfectly and he could be the key that could change everything. Lucas had never thought about his role in that light before until now. What he learnt from Mildred was that he was at the top of the food chain and others below them didn't really matter so much.  Ambrosia had lived a long life and there was a lot he could learn even from a supposed enemy. Nicole was supposed to be his enemy too as a vampire but through her he learnt how to control his urge to feed on vampires and how to rather drink human blood bags.&

 It was dawn the next day and Lucas was ready to make good his promise to Ambrosia and Mary. He also had other things he needed to accomplish. He knew the truth about how Mildred felt about him and needed to make things straight with her. He had done a lot of thinking through the night and his amazing brain and pieced together why things didn't go according to plan for her. As always Lucas was going to be going with his brothers to Dracula's territory and Nicole would come along with him as well. They were all ready and dressed. You have a big announcement to make about Ambrosia and Mary. I am sure your face would have healed up well before they arrived", Lucas said. Dracula's hands were figuratively tied, he was powerless against the vampire hybrids and they were reinforcing their supremacy over him.
