Wouldn’t Hurt A Fly
We arrived back to the castle in the early hours of the morning, honestly I thought it would go as smoothly as leaving the castle would be, but boy was I mistaken! We were supposed to leave the safe house this morning, but Gray got word that Rupert somehow learnt the location of the safe house, he blames his mother for showing up. So late last night after being literally dragged from bed and into a car, we arrived at the castle in the really early hours. Gray wasn't kidding when he told me they put an increase in the guard presents around the castle, they're down every corridor and office I even saw them in a crawl space when I was walking around! Lets just hope they don't get too overwhelming, but I know Gray is only doing this as he cares.  I was so nervous for the day ahead of me, if you remember Erik told me he had something he needed to discus with me about Cyrus. Everything with Gray's mother kind of put that

Heartless
"I know you came here and spoke with your dad a few weeks ago, I haven't saw him since which means you've done one of two things" he begins to speak, in his mind he was leading this conversation "either you've off'd him, which I honestly think you don't have it in you or, he's agreed to something and you've let him go, which one am I right about Clara?" He asks me smirking, he tries to lean forward but the handcuffs behind his back prevented him from doing so.  "As much as you're trying to hide it, you're struggling right now aren't you Cyrus?" I ask with a smile, he looks annoyed at me for a second but I just continue "now you and I need to come to some sort of arrangement, if we do than you can be free of all these struggles, how does that sound?" I ask tilting my head a little as I spoke, he looks up at me giving me a look which showed he was intrigued. &nb

Round Two
I wait around the corner of the reception to compose myself, I can't believe Gray and I had our first mini fight. I couldn't just stand there and allow him to treat people like that, I've never saw him like that and what I did see, I didn't like.  Once I was fully calm I walk around the corner where Kyle stood, he kind of looked different to when I last saw him. He looked tougher in a way, probably the job of an Alpha did that. He looks up his eyes lighting up a little when he saw me, I'm engulfed in a tight hug for a second.  We stand there for a few minutes, I didn't know how much I actually needed this hug. He was always there for me growing up and was my go to guy to help, I guess things haven't changed since we were little.  "When were you gonna tell me you let dad go?" he a

Price Of One
It's been almost a week since Gray and I fought and made up, he's been so lovely this whole time, not that he's not so lovely anyway. He's been leaving a single rose in different places throughout the day, there was a day I never came across one so he places it in his suit for when I saw him next. Other than that the days have been pretty uneventful for the days I have now, Erik sent a team down to start interviewing Cyrus and whoa, we got more than we bargained for. So with his statement and my fathers, Erik feels like we have a nearly airtight story.  Today I had another task at hand, I promised Gray's mother that I would have a meeting with her, I never break a promise which is why it's happening today. I told Gray and tried my hardest to persuade him to meet with her, but he told me he doesn't want to sit in the same room as that woman ever again, so I was going alone. I make my way down the corridor alone whic

Don’t Understand
"Clara, Clara" I hear someone saying my name over and over again, they sounded close but I couldn't make out who it was at first.  I slowly open my eyes lifting my head up, this is when I discovered I was in a dark and wet warehouse tied to a chair. My hands were tightly tied behind my back, while my legs were tied to the chair legs.  "Clara you're okay?" I hear the same voice, I turn my head as much as I could to see Lizzy also tied to the chair behind me "I was starting to get worried" she says still looking behind, starting to?! Being tied to a chair in a middle of a warehouse isn't imitate worry for her?!  "Do you know where we are?" I ask looking around but I couldn't see anything that might indicate where we were, again it was just a dark and wet warehouse place.

Not Your Fault
TW- This chapter involves suicide, if that is something that triggers you, please skip this chapter.  I remain alone in the dark warehouse for a few minutes, I was pulling at the tight ropes that held my hands together but it was no use. I also kept trying to mind-link Gray but it never went through, whatever chemical Rupert held to my face has done something to my wolf. It was eerily quiet which made my stomach turn, I didn't know where he took Lizzy or what he was doing to her.  A few more silent minutes go by until the door opens once again, Rupert walks in alone which again just makes me sick to my stomach, where's Lizzy?  "Now that's taken care of" he smiles knelling down in front of me, I didn't know what was going through his head but I didn't like it "me and you are gonna

Sick Joke
I lay in the cold freezing night for hours, the only sound I heard was the crashing of the water on the side of the dock. I could barely move due to my body being so cold, my body felt numb as I lay there staring at the side of the old wooden dock. I was just holding out hope that Rupert or Lizzy who pop their head out, they would tell me it was some sick joke and it was all going to be okay. But that didn't happen.  The ropes around my hands felt tight and were piecing through my skin, I somehow went passed the feeling of pain with my hands. They hurt for a few hours but now were numb, as like my whole body. The wind began to pick up sending a even bigger chill through my body, to make matters worse mist had started to form which meant I was getting wet. I repeatedly try to mind-link Gray or anyone, but as like before I couldn't. Whatever chemical he held to my face has caused a total loss of communication between

Gone
I open my eyes to discover I'm laying in bed, my hands stung as I look down to see them wrapped up in bandages. Beside me was Gray sleeping peacefully with his arm wrapped around my stomach, he didn't leave me like he promised he wouldn't. It was pouring with rain outside which was quite fitting for what happened, than I start to wonder if they've managed to get Rupert and Lizzy out the lake yet. It was pitch black when I left last night, you could barely see your own hand, just image trying to find two people in the lake. I hope they're not down there too long.  Gray's phone ringing from across the room causes us both to jump, he looks across at the phone but his head soon whips around to me.  "You are awake, you aren't in any pain are you?" He asks me sitting up straight, while his phone still rang in the background.

Father-In-Law
Today was the day of Lizzy's funeral, I done a lot of crying in the morning yesterday so I'll try to keep the tears at bay for Gray. He hasn't shown any emotion towards what happened to his mother, I don't think he's fully had time to absorb what's happened yet, whenever he does I'll be there. Late afternoon yesterday is when we announced her funeral, Gray stuck with the story that they had located her body after all this time and she was finally being put to rest. Honestly, a part of me thinks that statement isn't fully false, hear me out before you think I'm crazy. Before the awful killing of Matilda, Lizzy was a different person. From the stories Gray's told me and the pictures I've saw, but also the things I've heard from her old friends, she was this positive ball of light that you never saw frowning. She was always up to help people and would go out of her way to ensure everyone was safe, it's still unfortunate that she was mated to a man like Preston. But

Bad For Him
I met Erik in the lobby and explained what was happening, he was rather shocked but once I explained the trial part he was all for it. We start to make our way down the halls and towards the basement, where the the entrance to the dungeons were located.  As we start to walk down the halls I spot crowds of people gathered outside the gates, they all wore black with most of them holding flowers in their hands.  "People have been arriving since the news broke, they've been laying flowers for the former Queen" Erik explains noticing I was looking, I just smile at the thought of all the love that Lizzy was receiving.  Once I make to the basement my usual guards stood by the door, but a new one catches my eye and nearly make tears build up in my eyes. Stood there was the man that found
