Stella's POVI found my way to my favourite restaurant, it was an exotic one meant for the high and mighty. It was called first class restaurant. The restaurant wasn't so far from Mr Gabriel's office, it was actually few poles away and you could walk down there if you wanted to but I dared not do that, the daughter of Mr Larry Chancy can not be seen trekking under the hot scorching sun in this city, it was totally absurd. When I was younger, my mother would drive me around town and spoil me with lots of gifts, that was the least I could remember about her.She was not always there for me, especially when the kids bully me at school and I come home hoping to talk to her about it.Most times I spent the weekends alone without my father or mother, I had to learn to endure the bullies especially when the students called me crazy. It was really heart breaking, most times I couldn't stand it, I would cry and yell at them, I was too weak to do anything be

Selena's POVMy heart started racing really hard the moment my gaze caught Maryann coming out of the supermarket, at the same time I didn't want to talk to her, after all she hurt me really bad.Louis's hand across my shoulder was really makimg me very uncomfortable and jumpy."Isn't that your friend?" He asked pulling me softly across the shoulder."That hurts Louis" I said with my voice slightly shaky as I kept my face straight without turning to look at Maryann."Oh! Sorry about that" he said adjusting his hand on my shoulder.I thought he would remove his hand finally but he didn't, I shut my eyes, I knew for sure that I was in deep trouble, at that moment Iwished that I didn't leave the house without the body guards, who is going to save me from Louis today?"Selena..." Maryann called out, she was behind us.Actually I didn't want to stop cause their was no point stopping to talk to someone as horrible as Maryann, not after what she

Louis looked totally exhausted, he had returned from the market and he looked really messed up.His hands and clothes had dark stains all over as he was stinking of fish smell.Thelma smiled on seeing him, at least he was leaving the house on daily basis unlike before when he spent hours drenching his throat and mouth with alcohol. His father sat at the other corner with a newspaper in his hands."Good evening father" he greeted walking past him."Good evening son" his father greeted back as he watched him pass.Thelma turned to him "I told you that soon he would get over everything."He chuckled "I hope he forgives you when he finds out that you were the enemy he didn't know was lurking around."Her eyes widened in anger "what nonsense are you talking about?""About the evil you did Thelma, stop acting like what you did was right " he said fixing his gaze on the newspaper. She stood to her feet adjusting her clothes "well to keep yo

Selena's POVI have always dreamed of my wedding day from childhood, I dreamt of being the Ceo of a big company and getting married to a prince charming but today it's a different story for me.I am going to the boutique to select the finest wedding gown which I would wear to be wedded to the old Mr Chancy whose daughter would be my brides maid, quite an irony of life.We dream of the perfect yet the unbelievable and unplanned becomes our fate, well this is my fate now, an old man's little fiancée.As I dressed up in my nice printed dress, the thought of Anabelle crept back into my mind, I miss her so much and I wish so hard that she was here to keep me comforted as I take this ridiculous step to become an old man's little wife.I found my way to Mr Chancy's room when I was done dressing up, it was still the early hours of the morning so I was sure that he is still at home.I knocked on his door twice and he beckoned me in.He looked relaxed

Selena's POVStella was taken to the hospital. She had lost so much blood by the time the ambulance came.I tried reducing the flow of blood but the knife stuck in her belly got me even more scared, I was scared that I might end up causing her more harm.My body and hands were stained with blood as I paced the hospital hallway impatiently waiting for the doctor to come out and say something good.I was so scared of what Mr Chancy might to to me if anything should happen to his only child.I hated the fact that this had to happen to Stella but who would want to kill me?Stella sacrificed herself for my safety and I can't just believe that she could take such risk for me, why would she even do something as dangerous as that?I felt weak and tired. My shoulders sagged as I quietly sat on a long bench close by supporting my bowed head with my hands. My tears dropped to the ground. The whole event came flashing back into my mind, it
