Lahat ng Kabanata ng Love And Ashes: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Mr.Chancy shook his head still wearing his usual smile.I stole a glance at him wondering how he was still able to smile in a situation like this. This wasn't funny at all, his daughter doesn't look like she's ever going to accept the fact that her father wants to marry someone who looks almost her age.I couldn't even imagine her calling me stepmother, can you imagine that? The room was really getting hot for me, I could feel my back and armpit getting soaked in cold sweat."It's not a joke Stella, I and Selena are getting married soon" he said.He made it sound so simple with the way he said it, I could sense alot of pride and confidence behind his words, like someone who just won a trophy.Stella stared at us for a while, her eyes kept fluttering.I could imagine how much she was hating me right now within her, I would do the same if I were in her shoes, this was not an easy thing to accept. She was just too shocked, he mouth left agap

Mr.Chancy was furious on seeing that Selena had ran out of the compound, he wanted out of the house looking frustrated, he took a deep breath, he was sure he could find her.He walked back into the mansion."Stella I would not have you insult Selena in this house!" He said in anger."Selena or whatever her name is father, she is not welcomed in this house and that is it, I would not have you marry that dumb thing!" She roared.Mr.Chancy slapped her at once "how dare you?"Stella was shocked, her father has never raised her hand on her.She moved back in fear as her father walked closer to her "you see that woman called Selena, I love her Stella and I would marry her, having her under this roof wasn't easy for me to achieve and I would not allow some stupid daughter of mine to come in between my happiness.""Father..." She cried out with tears clogging her eyes.He pointed fiercely at her "Selena would return to this house and live under this r

Mr.Chancy placed his warm hands on my shoulder.I would feel it because I was wearing a sleeveless top.I stared at his face, he seemed to be aging more with each day that swept by.I sighed looking away, I couldn't stare at his face for long"I am really very sorry about my daughter's attitude" he said in a calm tone.I shook his hands off my shoulder and walked over to the bed and sat down.Mr.Chancy sighed walking closer to me "I'm truly sorry Selena."I chortled "you know, your daughter makes it look like I made more than just a mistake by saying yes to this marriage.""This was the best decision ever Selena, don't listen to Stella" he said."But she is right after all, you're too old for me and I'm too young for you" I said.He laughed softly "is that what she said to you?""It's the obvious Mr.Chancy" I said staring him right in the face for a while. He was beginning to sound like it was normal and okay for men to mar

Stella drove back home. She parked her car and alighted from it looking extremely exhausted.Selena watched her from her window, Stella looked up and saw her.She hissed."Gold digger " Stella mumbled. She walked into the mansion and met her father sitting in the living room with his lawyer."Hello Mr Gabriel" she greeted looking excited to see the middle aged lawyer who her father was few years older than.He smiled on seeing her "Stella, it has being a while since I last saw you, how are you doing?"She chortled "you barely ask of me, isn't it?"Mr Gabriel took a quick glance at Mr Chancy looking surprised.Mr Chancy laughed "he really do ask of you Stella, just that it skips my mind most times to tell you."Stella gasped "you never told me father, it skips your mind all the time not most times."Mr Gabriel shurrged "I'm glad that I have been vindicated."Stella nodded with a smile on her lips "now I'm convinced that

Stella knocked softly on the door adjusting her clothes trying to make them look as skimpy as possible. She had lavished her body spray all over her body and it's smell was thick in the air.She sniffed continually "I smell so good.""Come right in" she heard him say.Stella walked into the office, she shut the door behind smiling at him.She had gone to see Mr Gabriel the family lawyer and friend just like he had asked her to earlier."Stella my love, I have been expecting you, what took you so long to get here?" He asked standing to his feet with his hands spread apart. She sighed "you wouldn't believe it if I told you."Mr Gabriel walked close to her, he leaned forward wrapping his hand around her waist.Stella stared into his eyes without saying any word. She has this smirk at the end of her lips.He drew her closer to himself, feeding his eyes with her seductive body, her fair laps were clearly visible. He slowly place
