Ryan's mood became off. He strode out of the house and didn't come yet. Ariana was worried. Her changed expressions and worry were visible on her face. After lunch, she was heading toward her room when Evelyn stopped her."Aria," she spoke. But Ariana's mind was off, and she was going towards her room. Evelyn moved to her and held her by the shoulder. Ariana came to her senses. She looked at Evelyn and asked."What happened, mom?" Evelyn lowered her eyebrows at her and pouted. "I'm good, but something is missing." Ariana looked around and asked. "What is missing, mom? Tell me. I'll help you to find it." "Your smile is missing, Aria. Where are you lost?" Evelyn caressed her cheek. Ariana's eyes welled up, and s

Three years later,Ryan stood in front of a big glass mirror in his office. From here, he could see the lights of Las Vegas that had illuminated the city with its light.Even the brightened and enlightened City of Vegas couldn't enlighten his dark heart. His heart turned cold and dark after the incident that happened three years ago.Three years had passed with the speed of light for others, but for Ryan, time had stopped to the moment: he saw Ariana's car.He still remembered the moment, and everything seemed so chilling to him. He couldn't forget the view he saw when he woke up the following morning.Ryan clenched his fist as the memories of three years ago flashed before his eyes.**********FLASHBACKRyan opened his eyes with a heavy head. He touched his head which ached too much."What am I doing here?" He was puzzled, glancing at his surroundings. He was alone in the room. There he saw a note on the bedside table. Ryan frowned and picked it up with a throbbing head."I wanted to

Katelyn was sitting on the swing holding the rope with her hands. She looked sad. Her face depicted the grievance of her aching heart. The hot breeze of summer fanned her face, and she felt a burning sensation. She looked out of the zone, but when someone held the rope from the sides. Her face brightened up. She smiled, and her face bloomed like a Cherry blossom. She knew the person because the scent was familiar. She was in the moment when the person said. "Anna," Katelyn smiled. It was not her name, but she loved it when he called her by this name. Katelyn beamed in happiness and turned to look at him, but there was no one. She got stunned. She left the swing and ran into the meadows to find him. She looked here and there to search for him, but he was nowhere. She was drenched in sweat. The hot sun rays pierced through her body, and her white dress soaked in sweat. She started to cry because she was desperate to find him. "Kate, kate, get up, princess." She heard her name from th

"Aria...." He was about to call her, but jack interrupted him. "Hey, Ryan. What a pleasant surprise?" Ryan didn't want to shift his eyes away from her, but he had to do it. Jack hugged him, and he reciprocated his warm welcome. "How are you? Long time no see," Jack was aware of his condition but ignored it. He didn't want Ryan to call her Ariana. "I'm good. How are you?" He asked him, but his eyes were still on her. "Good. Meet her..." Jack moved to kate and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. Ryan looked at them. He didn't want to listen to anything that he couldn't bear. "My sister Katelyn Alexander." Jack smiled, looking at Kate. "Your long lost sister." Ryan wanted to know more. Jack nodded his head. "Where did you find her?" Ryan asked. He wasn't himself. Kate found it strange because he didn't even talk to her but stared at her all time. "Long story. I'll tell you in my free time." Jack turned towards Katelyn. "Kate, he's my university friend Ryan Walter." "Ryan," Ka

"Do we know each other?" Kate couldn't restrain herself from asking."Maybe we know, or maybe we don't." Ryan's voice was soft, and kate felt attracted to him. She didn't know why but this person felt known to her."What do you mean?" She was confused.Ryan smiled. A soft chuckle left his mouth."Why are you smiling? I know. I don't remember anything, but if we have met or I know you for any reference, you can tell me." She was serious, and Ryan lost his heart again at her innocence. His heart screamed in her intimacy. He was sure she was his Ariana. Yet he needed something to prove his point."You don't remember anything," Ryan asked. He wanted to know how much she knew.Kate pursed her lips and shook her head."When I woke up after my accident, I had no memory. Dad and Jack struggled a lot to stabilize me. Dad told me. I'm his daughter, and I was lost when I was a year old. But now they found me." She told him everything without thinking twice. She felt like words were coming to her
