---Divina--- I walk into the school building with Bren, and we pass by the dance team audition poster.   “Crap! With everything going on, I forgot to even check to see if I made the team.” I stop in front of the poster and stare at it wistfully.  “Well, if I didn’t hear anything yesterday, I’m sure I know my answer.” Bren reaches out and rubs my arm sympathetically, “I’m sorry, Divina. I know how much you love dancing.” “True, but I knew it was a long shot. Anyway, let’s go.” I link my arm through Bren’s and we head to our lockers. There’s a girl I haven’t met before leaning against my locker and when she sees me, she straightens up, and motions me to follow her. She quickly ducks into the classroom next to my locker and I follow her cautiously.   I try and fail miserably to not remember the things that Warrick did to me and how he made me feel in this very classroom. ---Warrick---  I am gripped with panic as I sprint from the cafeteria ignoring the concerned shouts of our friends.  I have to get to Divina. I am almost blinded by the scene that unfolds itself in my mind as my little mate battles a demon.  A fucking demon! I watched in horror as it erupts from Vanessa's wolf and pick up my speed.  I have no idea where I am going, but the mate bond is pulling me to her.    I try to yank open the door before me, but it’s locked so I pound uselessly against it.  I am ready to shift and rip through it when Divina opens it, looking as if she didn’t just battle a fucki

---Warrick---   I head home so I can pack an overnight bag and make arrangements with Sylvie to pack up the rest of my stuff and have it sent to Alpha Zane’s. Sylvie is the Omega who raised me after my mom and sister died, and she hates my father, so I know she won’t say anything.     After I tell Sylvie what I need her to do, she smiles and agrees in her heavy Spanish accent. “My sweet boy, I will take care of this myself. Don’t you worry. I don’t want details. The less I know the better.”  

---Divina--- My heart is full as I snuggle with Warrick on my favorite loveseat in the media room. It is dark and the light from the movie is the only light there is, casting a blue hue over everyone.   Brandon and Gloria are snuggled up like Warrick and I, but they seem more intimate and close. I assume it’s because they have already marked and mated.  I wish I could just be brave and give myself fully to Warrick, but I'm scared. I'm not even sure what I am afraid of.   Greg is engrossed in the movie and laughing out loud at some of the funnier scenes.  He really is a gorgeous guy and I wish he had found his mate already. He deserves to be happy.
