I’ve been floating on cloud nine for days. That night I spent with Rose was the best night sleep I’d had in ages. I adored waking up wrapped in her arms, her nose snuggled into my fur. Okay, so I might be a little weird, but we can’t share my bed as humans, yet. I’d caught her alone at the bus stop after school on Tuesday, and my mind drifted to those moments we cuddled. I slid in next to her, and began playing with her hair. I don’t remember when I started doing that, but she has never stopped me. I smirked at her as she looked absorbed with what was on her phone. “What’s the story today?” I asked her. “It’s a rejection novel,” was her simple response. “Rejection?” 

“Mallory! Go home!” I shouted as I walked back into my house. Anything to split up the terrible two before I have to endure them for a whole week. Still, I knew I was grinning. The more I kiss Rose, the easier it gets to flirt with her.  “Get bent, Kam! Why should I go home?” Mal looked at me from the top of the stairs. Mina was right behind her. “Because you need to pack. The week Rose and Mal stayed with us was both heaven and hell. I got to wake up and have breakfast with Rose, spend the afternoons doing homework, gaming, and just hanging out. The hell was because I kept having to let her sleep with Kimi instead of having her curl up with me in my bed.  Kimi and Simon started spending more time at our house than his. She didn’t seem to mind, but compared to the previous week, I wondered why he was choosing our house now when his house was perfectly fine last week. I also noticed that Rose wasn’t complaining.  All this left me feeling discombobulated. I love my sister, and I want her to be happy, and I love Rose. I want Rose to have her best friend, but I wanted her more to myself this week. I didn’t want to monopolize her, just have more time to just be with her one on on

That Kimi-cup is one determined bitch! She’s going to be loyal to a meathead rather than enjoy some pleasure from me. It’s upping her sex appeal. I mean, a tramp is good for a quick release, but the more I get to know Kimia, the more I want to know about her.  Ever since I shifted my attention from Rose to her, I’ve learned that she’s extremely fierce. She threatens people she doesn’t like, and she’ll defend her friends with everything she’s got. That slut I kissed when I first got here can’t hold a candle to Kimia, even though Kirsten is objectively prettier.  I regret kissing Kirsten. The news about Sue knowing our secret, and the fact she’s been secretly dating Ray, was huge. Not that her knowing, or them dating is something that Mom and Dad would care about, if they were told about it. Since they weren’t told, they’re annoyed. I swear, they were up half the night thinking up ways to torture Ray. It’s going to be hilarious when the lovebirds come home for summer. History reminded me that Jeremy was still having a rough go. We’d hung out over the last weekend, and I managed to annoy him enough that he told me what was going on with him. His parents are splitting, and his mom is planning on moving a few towns away.
