LilyI take in my new surroundings and frown; what is this? It’s been about a week since Konstantin and my brother tried to breach the border and failed. Since then Stefan has been pleasant towards me, he doesn’t even touch me or try to scent me into submission.I know that this means something big is happening because there’s no way Stefan would just stop his abuse towards me. For the last few months, he’s been in here religiously, taking what he wanted and then leaving. So why has he stopped? The uncertainty is making my stomach churn and I have been on edge this entire time. I know that I should relax or calm down for the sake of the babies, but I can’t help this. Something is going to happen, I’m sure of it!Now this? Moving me into a different, more spacious room with two maids and someone to help me? What exactly is Stefan planning?A knock on the door and someone

LilyA sense of calm has come over me since meeting my mother again. She tells me stories about how life was after leaving my father, how she’s always had to look over her shoulder even after changing her appearance. My father is more evil than Fenriz could ever be by the sounds of things, but Fenriz has definitely got the temper from him.Especially the thirst for killing Maiden Lunas. My babies stir as my mother places her hand on my stomach, and she lets out a squeal. “Oh, he’s saying hello to me!” she gushes, rubbing my swollen belly gently. I giggle at this and pop another cube of raw beef into my mouth; it seems the twins have been craving it lately, and it’s understandable. One is a carnivore after all, and the other… well….“I can’t wait to meet him,” she croons and kisses my stomach.“You mean them, you can’t wait to meet th

KonstantinKai instructed me to take Nova to Nikolai’s penthouse. He still couldn’t bring himself to empty it out, so he just had a cleaner come in twice a week to keep it dust-free. Now on top of everything else, we have this to worry about. Nikolai might still be alive, and he probably got taken the night he died. The only type of person who can fool an Alpha is a witch - Kai’s least favourite supernatural being. We step into Nikolai’s penthouse, and Nova stops walking. I’m about to ask her if something is wrong when I see her shoulders shaking, and she lets out a sniff.“This is his scent,” she murmurs, then turns to look at me. “This is Nikolai!”I can’t help but smile at her pure reaction and her wide-eyed innocence. She may not be Nikolai’s type of girl, but I can tell she’s being genuine. Before Kai allowed Nova anywhere close to the buildin

Konstantin “Start from the top,” Kai orders, leading Cat over to a chair at my desk. Both of them were still reeling at the bomb Cain had just dropped on them, and emotions were quite high. Cain nods then launches into the same story he told me - including the fact that he worked as a mercenary for Stefan.  “I came here seeking your help in reclaiming my territory, but it seems that I’ll be the one leaving with more than I thought I would.” He says, his eyes falling on a wide-eyed Caterina.  “Those scars on your neck, who caused them?” Cat asks, looking small in the plush leather seat next to Kai. Cain blinks at her question, then his eye flashes blue, catching her off guard. “Alberto Argenti with his claws dipped in vamp blood; he was ruthless at the time and vied for the spot of Alpha. He also raped my mother and forced my father to watch.” He says through gritted teeth, his jaw tensing up as he speaks. I l

Konstantin When Kai and I parked our motorcycles outside Fang, we already had our shit figured out. Of course, this plan heavily depends on where Stefan is located because as much as he doesn’t want to admit it, Kai is out for blood. The fucker might have taken Nikolai, and from what Nova has told us, our little brother is still alive. That in itself is enough to drive Kai to a massacre. “Everyone’s here,” Kai says when we step inside the bar, and I can see what he means.  We closed the club for tonight, so we all could meet and plan out our attack for tomorrow. The scents in here would have knocked your average wolf to the ground in submission, but no one is backing down, not even Zephyr. Gathered were Dimitri and Zephyr from our pack; they were behind the bar, watching everyone. Cain, who did not look happy at all, with his two Betas sitting on my stage, and last but not least, three members from Hellfire Horsemen witho
