Lahat ng Kabanata ng CARRYING THE MAFIA'S BABY.: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

Matteo's pov~ I stormed out the room furiously and punched the wall. Why do we always end up here. All I wanted was to go apologize for my behavior towards her as soon as she woke up but ended up leaving her in tears and leaving the room. Aagghh.... I needed a drink to cool down. On my way to my home office, I sighted Santi coming in my direction, I guess he was going to my room. “Hey man” he said as soon as we met each other. The look on his face instantly turned to a curious one when he saw me. “What are you doing here?” I asked as we both started walking to my office. “I came to speak to you about something important”. “But before that why'd you have that look on your face? You look like someone just busted you balls” he said laughing at his own joke when we entered the office but I only glared at him and sat down. “It's Sofia... We had an argument and I said horrible things to her... Ugghh... What's wrong with me?” I said slamming my fist in the desk.

Matteo's pov~It was now 8:00pm and doctor Sam advised it was better for Sofia to stay the night for supervision. I sent Santi home to go rest while I stayed here though he insisted he stayed with me but I refused. I pushed the thought of Mariella calling me, I'd deal with that later. I couldn't believe she flew all the way to America. I had gone to a nearby restaurant to eat because the hospital food was disgusting. I entered Sofia's current room and saw her sleeping, she still looked pale and tired. Her hand that she had cut had been bandaged. I sat on the chair close to her bed and watched her sleeping form, her baby bump had gotten slightly bigger. I lean back into the chair and closed my eyes.'~~~~~~~'I jolted up due to the sounds in the room. “Im sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. I was checking on her” a nurse said lowly looking sort of scared. I guess she witnessed my outburst to the other nurses. I nodded and signalled her to continue her

SOFIA'S POV~ After making phone calls with my parents, I was so relieved and happy that I didn't notice I had started tearing up. I spoke to them and ensured that they wouldn't worry too much about me. I also called Whitney and Nora who were so excited to finally speak to me. Whitney threatened to come here and deal with Matteo for taking me away from them, while Nora asked about my well being and cautioned me on taking good care of my health and the baby. I really enjoyed the chat with the girls as we laughed and joked around until I had to say goodbye to them which ended with us crying. After handing the phone to Mariella, I was a little sad but Melissa brought us some snacks and together the ladies cheered me up. When I informed them about my upcoming birthday, Mariella promised to celebrate my birthday in a grand form but I begged her not to do anything because I didn't want to celebrate my birthday and I mostly especially didn't want Matteo to find out. After ou

{SOFIA'S BIRTHDAY~II} Warning ‼️ There's going to be a little sex scene in this chapter and if you're not comfortable then you can skip it.... I hope y'all enjoy this chapter.. SOFIA'S POV~ I couldn't explain the level of happiness I was experiencing at that exact moment. Seeing my family again after months and especially on my birthday brought me so much joy and that was the best birthday present I received. “I can't believe you're here.... I've missed you so much” I cried happily as I hug all of them once again. “We have missed you too dear...” My mom spoke for the first time since I've seen her. “My love how are you?” My dad said, stroking my hair as his eyes teared up. I was so emotional that I started sobbing again as I hugged him tight “I'm fine now” I mumbled in his tear soaked shirt. He chuckled and patted my back “Don't cry my love, we are here now” After the hugs and crying, we joined the party as everyone interacted with one ano

Matteo's POV~I dismissed all my gang members after the meeting, excluding Santi.I was beyond tired because I hadn't slept for so many night and I've been worked up trying to find the fucking anonymous gang that had been sending threat letter.I give it to them, they are good in hiding and staying low and they should keep it that way because if I caught a glimpse of them, they would be history."Matteo, this is getting out of hand. We need to find them before they do anything drastic. We don't know how big their gang is but they already proved how smart they are when they attacked you last month" Santi said. I rubbed my temple with my index finger trying not to lash out my frustrations at him.The so called anonymous gang attacked my vehicle on my way back to the mansion a month ago and they killed two of my men and fled immediately. Since then, we had been more alert on finding them.I didn't tell Sofia or Mariella about it so they don't get stressed out. I tripled the security in t
