Lahat ng Kabanata ng Pieces of Me: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

Dingo/Davin POV I felt the warm air cool as we laid in each other’s arms on the bench. The heat of the day had come and was now leaving. She would be getting chilled soon. “Danalee, we need to get up and get dressed it’s getting late.” I nudged her. “Mmmmm,” Was all I got from her and she snuggled closer into me. “Come on you. We need to get dressed, you’ll get cold.” I kissed the top of her head. “Okay.” She said as she slowly pulled herself away from me. We got dressed and then I pulled the leaves out of her hair and began the walk back. I could feel her excitement and anxiety build and the questions started coming forth as I figured they would. “Davin, what does it feel like to change? It looked really painful.” She asked quietly. “It was the first time that I changed, but after that it became less and less and now it doesn’t really hurt at all.” “What is it like to be a real wolf? Do you have wolf senses? Do

Dingo/Davin POVShe was clearly confused when Nolan came in prepared to draw her blood. I was an emotional idiot getting caught up in things and making mistakes. I let out a chagrinned chuckle and said, “I was so concerned about the bigger things I forgot to tell her we can mind link.”I explained how mind linking worked as Nolan took her blood. She looked exhausted and it was getting late. I spoke with Brad again and we came up with a plan. I would take Danny back home until Brad got a feel for where the Counsel was going with things and then I would bring her back. This would give her the most amount of time to work through things on her terms. The security patrol at the trailer would be reestablished the following day at a greater distance. It was far from perfect but it was the best that we could do. He offered to have her move the trailer up to the Pack lands but I urged against it. 1 to keep her away from the Counsel and 2 because she is still learnin

Danny POV I woke up, my eyes didn’t want to open and everything hurt. The world was fuzzy. I heard Davin say, “Hey Baby, I’m here.” “Davin.” I tried to say his name but only a croak came out. Everything hurt. He whispered to me “Shhhhhh. I know Baby, I’m right here. Calm down, I’m right here and I’m never letting you out of my sight again.” I felt him beside me. I couldn’t focus. I thought I heard Nolan. No, I wanted Davin. Then I heard Davin again. “How are you, Danny?” This time I managed to ask him, “Hold me please?” and he did. I felt his warm arms wrap around me. I needed to feel him. He would keep me safe. I fell back asleep. My dream – Blackness and pain. That’s all I felt. I was scared. Was I passed out somewhere, helpless. Why does everything hurt. No, not again I began to shake and cry. But the pain and darkness began to fade as a silver white light began to glow around me. “Hello child,” I heard her.

Dingo/Davin POV I had just got done meeting with Brad and Marcus, buying Danny just a bit more time when I heard Nicks rolling laugh come from her room. I hurried my step and walked in. “What did I miss?” I asked looking around. “Your naughty nip of a girl called me Santa and it’s not even December yet.” Nick said pretending to be wounded. He looked at me, then at her. “Well then, I’m off to the North Pole.” He gruffed as he let himself out.  Nick was a good friend, always there when I needed him. I looked over at her and smiled. Mate! Dane said happily. “Well, you are doing much better.” I told her. She reached her arms up and kissed me gently, “We are at the Pack House. Nick, Brad, Brenda and I have all kept watch over you as you slept.” I kissed her back. “I feel like I’ve been in bed for a month. I’m so stiff.” She said as she started to stretch. I watched her move gracefully extending her arms and legs, breas

Dingo/Davin POV The beach it is. Anywhere away from Marcus was fine by me. “Oh, I wonder if there are any glass balls this far North.” Danny said aloud. “We get them every once in a while,” Brenda said. “There is a cove, that collects all the flotsam from the storms. I’ve found broken bits of floats there but never a whole one. You might try there, Dingo knows the way.” Brenda was on the same page, I just smiled at the two of them. “I think my treasure bag is in the truck still.” Danny said. “Treasure bag?” Brad asked. To my surprise, it was Sean that answered smiling. “It’s a shopping bag equivalent for beach combing he explained.” Brenda and Danny snickered exchanging glances. Brad rolled his eyes. Danny rinsed her dish, ‘determined’ to not be a bother and we went back to our room. Before I even had the door closed, I felt her slide her arms under my shirt and around to my chest. My cock instantly hardened at
