~Third Person p.o.v.~ *The Past, 18 years ago* "Mr. and Mrs. Archer?" A tall man called from across the room. He was wearing a lab coat and a pair of light blue scrubs underneath it. On the opposite side of the room, a happily married couple sat patiently in their seats, side by side. The young woman stood up first and she sprinted eagerly over to the man who had just called out their names. She outstretched her right hand toward the man, offering him a handshake. "Phoebe Archer!" She introduced herself while holding onto her very swollen stomach with her opposite hand. The man in the lab coat looked down at her, his lips slowly spreading into a smile. Then he gladly accepted her gesture, giving her hand a gentle shake. "Doctor Lockehart." He replied, introducing himself before he released her hand and offered it to the man who had just walked up beside Phoebe, standing behind her. "You must be the husband?" "Evander Archer, yes sir." ~Lucinda's p.o.v.~*A year & 11 months later, age 17*When the clock strikes midnight, your fate will be changed in the most unexpected way. Be prepared for an unwelcome surprise.I am startled out of my sleep, heart palpitating in my eardrums as every person in the classroom is looking in my direction with wide eyes. Mrs Kane is standing at the front with her right hand placed over the left side of her chest. She blinks before clearing her throat. Then she lifts two fingers, pointing them at the door. I nod, standing up from my seat and following her out to the hallway. She scratches her arm, turning to face me as I close the classroom door behind us.“Lucinda, are you alright?” Mrs Kane asks.My heart is beating a frantic rhythm in my chest and I try not to let the panic show on my face. “Y-yes, I’m alright.”She tilts her head to the side, inspecting my fa

P.S: Irie's name has been changed to Hesper.)~Lucinda’s p.o.v.~The air felt humid at this time of night. The forest was quiet as the only sounds to lull me to sleep were that of a hooting owl and thousands of chirping crickets. I curled my knees against my chest, lying on my side underneath the overgrown roots of a large oak tree. It wasn’t long before my eyes fluttered closed and my mind drifted away into the dark abyss where my nightmares await me. The ones that have haunted me for the past year since I left behind my family. At least I thought they were family, until they decided I was their enemy and put out a hit on my life.I had no idea how long I had been asleep but when my eyes opened next, it was due to a nearby startling noise. The piercing echo of a branch snapping underneath a heavy boot cut through the quiet forest, silencing the crickets and the hooting owl. My bod

I stare right at her, my breath catching. A part of me feels like this is impossible. After everything I’ve been through and all it took to get me here. There’s no way she’s real, but she is looking right at me, and I can’t seem to look away. Little Lucy isn’t so little anymore. Her body has filled in over the last five years. She’s got curves in all the right places. Her breasts are fuller, her ass is rounder, and she has a slim waist. She looks sexy, beautiful even. However, what has me most transfixed is her scar… It wasn’t there five years ago, and I can feel the raging storm inside of me spreading through me like hot lava. It made me wonder, who the FUCK hurt her?! Lucinda’s lips are slightly apart, her mouth hanging open like a fish out of water, but I can’t help to find it adorable. She may look different; however, she’s still the same Lucy from before. The same girl that stole my breath away years ago during Hunters Training. The day she volunteered to kick my ass. I had thoug
