Lahat ng Kabanata ng An Alpha for the Alpha: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

*Typhon* I rake my hand through my hair, a little bit peeved that this annoying little Alpha has made me laugh more in the past day than I have in the past year, “Do you know, if you weren't the enemy, you'd be rather entertaining.”  He shrugs.  “Have you ever taken the time to consider why packs hate us ? Why we are rogues in the first place ? That we have feelings and hopes and dreams too ?” I stare at him intently. I don’t know why, but I am determined to find a conscience in this guy. He must be able to see our side, I am sure of it.   ‘He seems smart, and he is funny, and..’

*Jonas* He exits the room, slamming the door behind him before twisting the two locks shut with a vicious click that mimics the look he had on his face. I stare at the door and blink. What had that been all about ? The man is as changeable as the wind. One minute I would swear he is actually growing fond of me, and the next … ‘Maybe he struggles with this …,’ Cana starts. I huff, “Do not say mate” ‘…Mate thing,’ He finishes with a cheeky grin. Well, I think, as I reach for the tea and pour myself a cup, he does think I amtraitorous and kinda evil. That ought to explain why he is so often brusque and insulting. Although .. I take a deep sip of the steaming tea and sigh with pleasure ... It doesn't explain why he had kissed me. And it certainly doesn’t explain why I had let him. Let him ? Hell, I hate to admit it, but I enjoyed it. It had been like nothing else I have ever experienced, more like the warmth and security I had known when I was a Young pup and my mother were sti

*Jonas* “Out !” I croak, “Now ! Both of you.” They turn to face me, clearly having forgotten that the object of their discussion is still in the room. “Fucking excuse me, what ?” Fire moon says. Cana huffs, ‘Language Young lady.’ “I would like a few moments alone,” I manage to croak out, then add, “Uhm sir … beta … my lady … whatever.” “Call me Fire,” She replies, “All of my friends do.” I shoot her a wry look, plainly covering that our odd situation hardly qualifies as friendship. “And he is Cerberus or Typhon, whichever you prefer,” She adds, “I am assuming the two of you are on a first name basis or should be by now.” I shrug, “He never really introduced himself.” “Shame on you, Cerberus," Fire Moon says, “Such manners.” My wolf lets out a laughing bark, ‘I like her, she got spunk.’ “I'm going to forget you said that,” Typhon growls, “Because if I don't, I will have to kill you.” I chuckle despite myself. Say what you will about the perplexing man who is keeping me ho

*Jonas*To be honest I am actually kinda excited and delighted to be allowed to stay. But when the first excitement has died down I realise that I have no more to share with them. I am not gonna actually be a help. To say it bluntly, I am useless. I am sure they have no idea yet. Typhon and Fire moon probably think I still have all kinds of juice tidbits they can use. What will happen when they realise ? Will they change their mind and throw me out ? Or will they decide to get rid of me. So I decide that the only way to keep myself safe and keep me here … ‘And with that hunky man,’ Cana injects into my thoughts. ‘Oh shut it you horny bitch,’ I tell him. The way to keep me here is to make myself useful … but how do I do that ? “What to do, what to do,” I mumble to myself, walking aimlessly through the caves as I look for a suitable task. I need to find a project that will take a long time to complete, something that will require my presence for at least several days, maybe a wee

*Fire moon* “I wouldn't have said that if I was you,” I comment from a safe distance, my wolf just following the spectacle with curiosity Jonas sticks the end of his shovel in the dirt and leans on it as he speaks to Typhon, “Once you hear my explanation, I'm sure you will understand." “I understand nothing !” The big man huffs. “Yes,'' Jonas sighs, “Men like you usually don't.” Typhon starts looking around the garden, his head whipping frantically from side to side as he tries to assess the damage, “I'm going to have to get someone to redo everything and repair what you have done. Good God, kid, you are going to cost me a bloody fortune and we will lack the vegetables." “Don't be silly," Jonas courageously replies, “These holes will all be filled up by evening. I'm merely moving those plants here into the sun. They will do much better there. Except for those over here, of course,” He adds, pointing to the ones planted right next to the rocks, “Those thrive in the shade.” “I
